This is also what happens when you wait until the last possible minute to make a needed trade.

Dug too big a hole.

They made their bed.

I don't think they get that trade earlier. Could they have done the Indiana trade at the beginning of the season? Maybe, but we don't know if the Pacers had settled on their demands.

I think KAT will have a huge resentence once he is traded.

Don’t think he will be a #1 on a contender ever, but he is damn good.

And pretty easy to understand why one might be disillusioned playing in Minnesota.

He is part of the problem there though.

You should be the coach of Knicks.
Who the hell would want to coach in NBA today unless you’re guaranteed steph Durant dame Giannis jokic on your squad.

100% of the NBA players today are not coachable.

Next to Jordan, he’s the most amazing player that I have seen play in a live game, with my own 2 eyes.

But, his body is starting to show literal cracks.

Fucking sucks for the NBA.
I wonder if that's gonna be viewed as a justification for all teams to continue on and with their "load management" ?...or as a kind of clarion call aimed at the league/commish to finally end once and for all the stupid mandatory b2b games teams are forced to play?....or to at the very least, shorten the regular season schedule across the board by 10 -15 games??

:hmm:

End of the world because no Bron but.....

7-Warriors without Steph.

8-The Jazz traded off a bunch of players at deadline so clearly winning isnt their plan.

9-KAT isnt playing for the Wolves.

10-Zion isnt playing for the Pels and they arent at the top of their game.

11-Dame isnt a superstar because the Blazers arent winning.

The Lakers have the easiest remaining schedule.

Cant make this stuff up.

The Pacers wanted both picks.....and we got a pretty good return for just 1 plus Russ and spare parts.

If AD plays like he did earlier this season putting up Wilt numbers....he is totally capable of carrying them.

No, but we got more depth. Which is important. And that's just Russell, Vandy, Beas and Bamba.

Doesn't even take into account the much earlier pickup of Habachi. 5 players is better than 2.

It was too late.

Had this trade happened in December, Lakers would be firmly in the mix.

Was saving that extra 1st worth running Lebron into the ground?

Time will tell.

But, if Lebron really hurt his foot in January and Ham still played him all those minutes?

Bruh.

Gotta be a happy medium between the bullshit Kawhi does and saving a player from himself.

Yeah, time will tell. As of now, I will say yes it was because it's a piece that can be used in the off-season or during the season next year to address a need or 2 (like maybe a true SF who can help keep Lebron's minutes down).

It’s his ankle.

Kinda need those to run…

…jump…

…cut.

You are in 12th place and will be missing your best player.

Pretty sure he’d be playing if he could.
Sure.....Russell is game to game though while James is out for a few weeks. Clearly different severity levels.

Not a Dr but slept at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
