I actually didn't believe that Russ would pull that kinda thing when it was suggested last week.

Now?

What do you think about him buying the house next to Lebron's?

lurking-creeping.gif

Yeah, if I hadn't seen and read about some of what went on with him last year, it would have been hard for me to believe that he would do that as well. But he's shown that he has an extremely low basketball iq, so he can't see how coming off the bench can be good for both him and the team.

That has got to be a bit awkward, but I'm sure Lebron lives in a nice neighborhood and if his wife loves the house...what's he gonna do?

Maybe he'll do like the guy who bought a house next door to his ex-wife, then had a statue of a middle finger installed facing her house. lol

Maybe it will change but I was expecting Melton to get more minutes in Philly.

Uncomfortable?

:pound:

Like, I'm sure they aren't living in a McMansion.

You know, those 5,000 sq foot homes with a 900 sq foot patios?

So, hopefully.....Russ can't see into the yard.

But....damn...why?

It's not like he hasn't know he was getting felt or at the very least he wouldn't be brought back.

Maybe they are just good friends?

My best friend in the world used to be my partner at the Sheriffs Department.

We HATED working together .

You're not, RW isn't playing. If he wasn't playing vs Portland we'd have gotten our first win vs them and they are a good team.
Sure..there's that..lol....but it might also require AD being crafty by getting Joker into early foul trouble..and for Lebron to drop 40 or 50 on the Nugs. They also need to keep their turnovers down to a minimum.

Just awhile back you were upset that another poster stated they were tired of reading all the bullshit Lakers posts.

You told that person to basically mind their own business and skip it if they don't like it.

Really?
I didn't misunderstand shit.

I was the only person posting about it.

lol

Yes, you did. No, you weren't and you're not the only one who has commented on the Lakers cap situation.

My post wasn't directed solely at you. If it was, I would have quoted it. You've been around long enough to know that.

You misinterpreted it, got in your feelings about it and started deflecting to "I can say what I want" bullshit.

Do you want to discuss my actual post about how the Lakers should spend whatever cap space or keep deflecting to made up bullshit.

You guys are both wrong and I'm right
Dude, we have versatility.

We are having like 3 different conversations at the same time.

One is trolling Westbrook for faking a injury, one is trolling him for going single white female, the last one is trolling eachother.

That's how we roll.

We can absolutely talk about it if you want.

Again: My initial post to you stated, that's not your usual style, which is why I was surprised.

I was definitely the only one disputing the numbers DJ posted TODAY.

I can't speak on what was said any other time.

True. Lebron does seem to have a lot of friends and if they both have a "business is business" approach re: basketball, it could be fine.

I have a similar situation as you. One of my closest friends and I have worked together and been roommates.

We'd be roommates again, no prob...but we both agree that we don't ever want to work together again. lol

Yeah.

People have to understand Lebron does want to win.

I know all the he came to the Lakers for movies, his kids..blah, blah, blah.

But, he still wants to win.

This is not about friendship.

Ffs, the Cavs traded Wade and the Lakers didn't bring back Melo.

So, I think the strife we see between them begins, and ends, on the court.

This isn't a fact. Portland wasn't going to foul. There is no guarantee lakers score on that possession

There's the disconnect...I was talking cap space in general and pointing out what has been reported. I wasn't responding directly to your post.

It's typing, not talking, so a little easier to have misunderstandings, etc.

My main point re: the Lakers cap is that, however much they have, they should spread it among 2-3 good to very good role players who fill specific needs rather than use it for 1 guy (i.e. Kyrie). Then fill the rest with the exception/vet min types.

Fun fact...if the Lakers shot just 25% from 3, they'd likely be 2-1 right now. lol

Okay.

If I had it wrong, I apologize.

I have no issue admitting if I made a mistake.

Apologies.
