if Embiid bows out of the All Star game, Jarret Allen should get his spot. He is the lynchpin on the best defense in the NBA, and a team leader.

3 teams have more wins than the Cavs and they currently only have 1 all star.

Huge win for the Lakers.

My GAWD, make your fucking free throws.
The late misses get magnified, but 21-26 is solid for the game. Bigger problem were the what, 10 free throws that AD should've had over the course of the game?

Looked like Poole's hot streak actually froze out his teammates in the 4th.

All-stars should be on individual merit, not team play, so that second statement shouldn't matter (but does for some reason - ie Jrue).

Allen or Mobley. Allen definitely the guy of this defense though, Mobley is his sidekick. Gotta put one of them in if Embiid is out

Beasley's tough shooting night aside, the new pieces from the Russ trade contributed nicely. Really like Vando's hustle.

How many games are left on Bamba's suspension?

Not sure. I think that either this was the last one or he has 1 more.

Dude had a nice debut with the Knicks earlier.
Helped them beat the Jazz 126-120 at MSG.
25 min. 11 pts. 7 reb. 4 asst. 4 stl.
Have liked him since the Lakers drafted him, does a little bit of everything.

As far as his statement, the GP2 situation seems a little shady. The team claims they thought he was healthy, but then why were they giving him shots to get through the discomfort? They should've left the trades separate; now they either accept the injured player or cancel the entire shebang.

But saying no homo is just saying you're not gay, not that being gay is bad.

:L

Damn. I guess you gotta explain everything to everyone. "No homo" started as a derisive joke, mostly among young people on message boards, chats, and gaming communities. You're not simply saying "I'm not gay". You're saying "This isn't in a gay way because gay is bad". It's a way to be dismissive of them without outright using a slur. To say its a benign phrase is to be completely ignorant of the context and situation. Is it as bad as a slur? No. But the NBA has had what is essentially a no tolerance policy every since Kobe dropped the f word slur some 10+ years ago. That's why the fines are so high, to deter anyone from using any thing in that realm.

Suns building some depth now. How many roster spots they got open? You gotta think they'll be a popular ring chasing buyout destination.

I like Reggie Jackson to Denver too. Essentially traded Bones for Jackson, which is a better fit for them. Though if I'm the Clippers, in hindsight I think I'd rather keep Jackson instead of trading him for Plumlee knowing Jackson would end up on Denver. You just inadvertently made the Nuggets better while getting Plumlee isn't all that much of a boost.

Adding Plumlee was huge for the Clippers.
