We can create GDTs, but we need somewhere to talk about the series in general until then.
G1 is GausmanFrom what I see ... the schedule is
G1 ... G2 ... travel ... G3 ... G4 ... travel ... G5
Unless they pitch on 3 days rest ... it looks like the game 1 starter is also the game 5 starter. And I can't guess who we start in game 4 ... unless we are down 2-1 ... then maybe Gausman on 3 days rest?
That's how I think they line up as well.G1 is Gausman
G2 is Webb
G3 is Disco
G4 is Wood
G5 is Gausman
I’d be all for this against St Louis, not as much against LA. LA owns Gas and I think it’s imperative they win game 1.G1 is Gausman
G2 is Webb
G3 is Disco
G4 is Wood
G5 is Gausman
I thought it was Disco with the rough history vs LA?I’d be all for this against St Louis, not as much against LA. LA owns Gas and I think it’s imperative they win game 1.
I agree .... since the game 1 starter is also the game 5 starter ... I swap Gas and Charolette if it's the doggiesI’d be all for this against St Louis, not as much against LA. LA owns Gas and I think it’s imperative they win game 1.
I just checked on the 2021 schedule .... Gas only faced the doggies 3 times. Once in May, once in June and once in July. He was great in May. Gave up 3 runs in 5 innings in June. Gave up 3 runs in 3 innings in July. The July start was pretty much when he came back. Hard to get a good read on him against the doggies. I think it will depend on his splitter that day.I thought it was Disco with the rough history vs LA?
It would be all hands on deck so it almost doesn't matter who starts. I'm pretty good with either Webb or GausmanI just checked on the 2021 schedule .... Gas only faced the doggies 3 times. For me the question us .... who would you want on the mound for a game 5 at home?and
True. I could see a significant Shimmy moment..It would be all hands on deck so it almost doesn't matter who starts. I'm pretty good with either Webb or Gausman
That is correct. It's why you win your division. On another note ... I think in the WC it will be Wainwright versus Scherzer ..... which means we would not see either of them until game 3 ....
Baseball traditionalist heads the world over are exploding right now…Putting this here since we don't have a generic postseason thread and I don't feel like creating one.
How I would like to see the postseason go:
Wild Cards: Red Sox over Yankees; Cardinals over Dodgers
LDS: Rays over Red Sox; White Sox over Astros; Giants over Cardinals; Brewers over Braves
LCS: Rays over White Sox (sorry msg); Giants over Brewers
World Series: Giants over Rays
First step to that timeline has been successfully completed.
My rank, in rooting order…Putting this here since we don't have a generic postseason thread and I don't feel like creating one.
