Yes, regular season in the NBA is meaningless for the top teams.

The problem the Lakers faced is that their two stars got injured at the same time and missed a ton of games.

Had they been healthy and load managing, they would still have been a top 2 or 3 seed.

And yes, when they play 82 and the top 10 in each conference make the playoffs, there are plenty of meaningless games in there for the top teams.

Trying to come up with some guys who are too high or low (at least 5 either way) and not easy. I guess AD if healthy, but fact he's often not healthy makes that ranking fair, I think.

PG and CP3 might be too low IMO (assuming talking only what they offer now). Maybe Middleton too high. without doing a lot of research not much there to complain about.
