The HOF isn't just for offensive production. Wallace is rightfully a HOFer.

Be angry all you want.

But it is in the best interest of the organization to sit players out of regular season games.

While you can’t predict major injury, you absolutely can limit wear and tear and significantly reduce risk of muscle injuries by simply having players sit when they are less than 100%.

That is the future of sports, like it or not.
Nothing wrong with a day off...

But what the heck they training for?

what separates the professional athlete from the rest is playing hurt!

that’s called commitment.

again, you’re showing up, you’re going through everything you would normally do , then you sit and watch ? You sit and see your teammates needing you, you want to be out there. Where is the day off? Sports is mental and physical wear and tear...

cmon man...

And Hakeem and Wilt are both arguably the 2nd best center ever.

Also Hakeem agile enough to play 4.

This was my other consideration:

LeBron, Jordan, KD, Hakeem, Stockton

That team is athletic as hell and I think would fit the modern game a little better than the twin tower look.
Before seeing this went with your second option. Hard to exclude Curry at PG but I think they'd manage.

I can agree other than P/C days off not needed in baseball. Playing baseball is a day off. Half the game is on the bench. Most of the other half standing around and watching.

They train to be great at their job.

They rest to be at peak form when it matters most, not for a meaningless game in February.

The idea behind load management is limiting the wear and tear because again, the regular season is not that important for contenders. At least not nearly as important as being healthy.

Yeah, LeBron is the primary ball handler even with Curry.

So I will take KD over Curry at that $3 price all day every day.

I chose Stockton not because I needed a point guard, but because I think he fits the flow really well. And it would be good to have somebody primarily looking to distribute to all those scorers.

Stockton was for the reasons you gave and his price. If Curry was just a buck I'd probably have added him as arguably the best shooter ever to space the floor as much as possible.

That’s not cool man!

baseball involves much more time than any other sport. It is the most boring sport to watch , no doubt, but the season is too long and drawn out...

try sittin on a bus every other week for 7 hours, COACH

No such thing in pro sports..

HAH, you think the Lakers aren’t regretting those missed meaningless games their studs missed with their phantom injuries?

You are too much. You just like to invent your own false narratives.

Yes, regular season in the NBA is meaningless for the top teams.

The problem the Lakers faced is that their two stars got injured at the same time and missed a ton of games.

Had they been healthy and load managing, they would still have been a top 2 or 3 seed.

And yes, when they play 82 and the top 10 in each conference make the playoffs, there are plenty of meaningless games in there for the top teams.
