Maybe if he had the opportunity to get Snell Dolan would stop being a penny pincher?

You guys need to do a Snell/Snell trade and throw Blake in as well. Cy young from 2018 and greatest Hooper on the planet

Proof of how important rest and recovery during the offseason is. I also hope this leads to the NBA cutting back its schedule too. Drop 10 games. 72 games from late Oct thru April is perfect. It would basically eliminate any back to backs and alleviate some travel. Keep the Play In as a way to offset the loss of revenue.

Also proof that load management, while not popular with fans is the right thing for organizations to do to protect their players.

You have to be healthy in May and June to win a title.

Seriously though. The time has come.
The NBA should definitely put an end to those silly regular season "required" B2B games for all teams once & for all.
If they still can't figure out how to handle logistics comprehensively & realistically, then they need to hire a firm that can.

I just don’t get it, I don’t watch, read much about the game today for reasons already posted.

how the heck you don’t see how this game has gotten so far away from the coach is beyond comprehension. Unless , Rivers don’t know Jack , The hawks should not even have a chance beating the 76er’s yet both games were competitive. See the hometown fans faces when it was 79-78 ?

you dudes/ettes gots lots a patients ...

Play In tourney is a drop in the bucket, 6 games vs 150 lost with the schedule reduction. Regardless, they need to reduce the schedule.

A jump in injuries this season would've happened even without back to backs IMO. You had two extremes coming into the season; teams that just played in the bubble and an extremely short offseason (especially the finals teams) and teams that hadn't played since March, with players likely out of shape and trying to rush themselves back into shape.

Slow NBA morning

That lady who always mediates Stephen A and Kellerman. Was just talking to Kellerman and Kendrick Perks about Perks twitter beef with some dude called Quavo of Migos?!?!

No wonder ESPN is finally bringing hockey back next year.

They get the bulk of their revenue from TV. They can charge more for the play in to help offset the cost and since they revenue share anyway among the teams, the teams that don't make it will still get some. They'll still lose money from the gate from those 10 games, but the TV price for those Play In games will help offset it some. Also, they can open up some more ad spaces on the court. The TV technology is there to where they can superimpose logos on the court during the telecast. They already do this some, but not to the degree where they could. You could basically have a rotating amount of ad logos on your court each quarter or set periods of time during each quarter. For instance, for the 1st quarter there's a Budweiser logo on the lower right corner of the court. 2nd quarter it changes to Wal Mart

Yes and Walker is also being rumored around here. I guess when you have so many draft picks you are going to be in the rumors.

If it's like most rumors probably means not happening. My guess will be like most if he goes. Unexpected deal.

Guy has regressed last few years and on wrong side of 30 (with a number of injuries). I don't think I'd want him if OKC. At this point you'd be going after name only.

I don’t know why any team with aspirations would want Kemba Walker. Why do you want an expensive, aging, high volume shooter that is a defensive liability if you’re looking to build a championship? It didn’t make sense when the Celtics did it and now he has more tread on the tires. He belongs with an also ran like the Hornets, entertaining people in a small market city that needs to sell tickets but really isn’t ready to win.

Yeah if he's even your 3rd best player it's not great as Boston learned this year.
