Yep that's part of it as well with him, but he also has some numbers Luke never had (assists, rebounds) and much better defensively. So he's a lot more than a 'glue guy' or whatever you want to call Walton. Walton was never an allstar or all NBA.

Yeah, that's why I said a much more talented player than Luke. The role is essentially the same, but Dray being a much better player has been able to do a lot more in that role.

I never thought he could. He had no experience. No G League no assistant role. Went straight from nothing to coach of a title contender.

Give me a team with 3 superstar players, and a veteran NBA coach like D'Antoni as my assistant and even I can get that team deep in the playoffs

Not a player on the Nets roster can guard him. Also (as I already knew), Jrue is so much better than Bledsoe. The doubters will see the difference between the 2 in the playoffs

Jrue is definitely better than Bledsoe by quite a bit.

Hoping to see those 2 duke it out in the 2nd round. As it stands, looking pretty good that this will be the case. Sixers with effectively a 3 game lead on both of those teams. Hard to see the Sixers losing 3 of their next 7 which would still require one of those teams to win out.

I know that you are using hyperbole here...

But, the Nets probably have the largest collection of diva personalities ever assembled on an NBA roster.

They seem to get along for now, but This is not an easy coaching job by any stretch of the imagination.
