Knicks half court offense is ass. They’re going to struggle to score vs playoff caliber defense.

And their offense is driven way too much by Randle. He's having a great season but in the playoffs you can't succeed with just one focal point on your offense.

Is it though? They just have a regular season commitment most teams don’t employ until the playoffs start. Now everybody will have that level of commitment to defense.

Thibs has them playing defense, which is his trademark. But in the playoffs everyone is playing full time defense. I just don't see how they score points against playoff defenses.

I don’t know. These two games of Bucks Nets were eye opening. You have to be a strong defensive team to lay the paint vs Giannis and build the fence. The Nets are darn near retarded on that end and poorly coached. Wouldn’t be surprised if Bucks won that series. Also...does anyone know about Harden and when he’s back?

So he's done one good thing lately, hiring the current GM who's responsible for bringing in Thib's. Dolan's still the worst owner in the league. And I don't see that changing anytime soon.

If you think Dolan's changed in some way for the better he hasn't. When the BigEast tourney was at MSG this past season on multiple occasions Patrick Ewing was harassed by Garden employees as he entered the arena. That wasn't an accident.

In terms of position, you are generally classified by which position you can guard.

Green wasn't an offensive liability for most of his career. He fit the offense well and made it possible for their lethal shooters to get open looks.

Draymond Green today is an offensive liability.

FTR, Mattisse Thybulle's per 36 is 7.2 ppg. Green's is 7.7. Green is a better offensive player than Thybulle right now but that is grading on a pretty low curve.

I still disagree. Green may score 6.7 ppg in his 31.2 mpg, but he also generates at least 17.4 ppg from his 8.7 apg. Thybulle's 1 apg leaves him miles behind Green.

because. 7 8 9

7 plays 8 and 9 plays 10, 1 game each. Loser of 7/8 plays winner of 9/10 for the right to be the 8th seed and play the 1 seed in the first round. Things can still shuffle around a bit in both conferences, as 5-7 is close in both, as is 8-10.

Still hate this concept. A team plays 72 games to make the top 8, but still has to play 1 or 2 more to play teams that couldn't make the top 8 after 72.

Yeah, he will take turns switching, but his primary role is generally the best big on the opposing team. He's not a primary wing defender, but can guard it really well in spurts. I wouldn't trust him on say CP3 for the whole game, but on any given possession sure. So he's still a PF by that regard.

The Warriors could really use some extra bodies, especially some veterans with experience to help with losses like last night. That was just terrible. I don't know why Kerr went with Mulder or Bazemore over JTA down the stretch, but whatevs.
