could argue Billups was Detroit's best - or most important - player.Ok, fair enough.
And you had to go back to the 80s to do it.
Also, Magic at 6’9 is a bit different IMO. More like LeBron than Lillard.

Mostly agree with this, but while AI never won one, maybe he could have if he had better #2 and #3 teammates than Mutombo, McKie, Hill and/or Ratliff?
You're the one that said "in the last 40 years". I'm just going by the timeline you set. You specifically asked about teams led by PG's that won a title.
"Magic at 6'9 is a bit different in IMO"
Not to me. He was a PG correct?
Eh.
I think that was as much on him and his style of play. He was a brilliant player, but an individual player.
I remember all the hype when he partnered with Melo in Denver. That was a pairing that was never going to lead to titles.
Yes, I did.
And I should have been more clear.
LeBron is basically a point guard too.
I should have just said small lead guards.
Hey it's all good. Always like yapping with you. Ya know your stuff. I was just nit-pickin' anyway.
It is funny, because I was going to say 30 years then I went to 40 without really thinking about it. 80s were like the only decade dominated by PG led teams.
Should have stuck with my original thought.
True but it would be different if he were in his early 30's....but they do have Kanter so they may be better off with him.

Ok...so he's not a fit with Melo, McKie, Mutombo, Ratliff and Hill to win a title.Eh.

Your team so you'd know better......but if I got to choose who was gonna sit in a crucial playoff game against the cavs after Billups I'd ask Hamilton to take a seat.Toss up
I'd go
Billups
Wallace
Wallace
Hamilton
Prince
In order

what about 2015-18 Klay instead of McKey that year? If you want guys from that year, Stackhouse or Ray Allen? Webber or Brand?
I mean, I agree with your premise despite a couple outliers.
Lol wow, seems like Dame Dollah ain't even been in the league all that long...Exactly. Nurk before that injury 2 years ago to the Nurk now isn't close to being the same player.
Dame is turning 31 this summer....not a lot of time to waste
Yes but would you rather have AI or Kyrie?????
