First marriage...as one of our wedding gifts, we had gotten a nice set of china.

So, we're sitting together in the living room watching tv and she says: "We really could use one more 4 piece set of that china we got for out wedding."

I ask: "Why? There are only the 2 of us as it is." She says: "Well, you use china when you have family etc. over for the holidays."

I ask how much that would cost. I forget what she said. So I said "Sure, that sounds affordable. Maybe we can go this weekend or something".

She gets up, walks into the bedroom and comes back out with a 4 piece place setting of the china we got for our wedding.

I ask: "Where was that?" She says: "Under the bed."

So I ask: "What if I'd have said we can't afford it right now?" She says "I'd have left it under the bed and asked again in a few weeks."

Me: "What if I looked under the bed before then?"

Her: "When was the last time you looked under the bed?"

Me: "Good point."

MJ was a flat out scorer, not the 3 point shooter Curry is, but just the better overall scorer.

With lower shooting percentages. The 3 is a far more efficient shot. That's why the game is all about 3s now. Jordan's fadeaway midrange shot is no more.

I was just comparing the scoring averages. That kind of scoring looks like the numbers MJ would put up. And Curry does it with fewer shots.
