They say that "money doesn't change you, it reveals who you really are".

The same could probably be said for going from a team that is losing to a contender. So we may be about to see who he really is.
I actually thought we'd find out and he might go to NY....choosing a larger role (more shots) over winning.

I'm taking the fact that he apparently isn't (won't know for sure for a couple more hours) as a good sign.

If they want that from him they'll get it. Meaning, if they play him enough minutes. No doubt he'll take enough shots.
He is an upgrade at center over Gasol and Harrell....IMO.,

Gasol is starting and Harrell is like 6-6 or 6-7.....better off coming off the bench as a backup PF and C in limited minutes.

Haven't been here much, how bad do the Cavs suck?

We beat them by 14 without AD and James.

Might have been him. But, hell, was a time I liked the guy. Never questioned he had talent. Just got tired of watching him shoot bricks with 2-3 guys draped all over him.

Not saying Lakers shouldn't have signed him and clearly said as much. Low risk, high reward move.

Gotta feeling that Drummond will be more of a team player with the Lakers. Maybe he never wanted to be in Cleveland in the first place and gave a half assed effort?

He got shots in Cleveland and will in LA, especially with AD and James out.

When they return he could average 13ppg and 10-11rpg, making James and AD's jobs easier with a competent big man smack dab in his prime. He has earned a lot of money during his career.....I could see him signing a 2 year deal coinciding with James contract. If he really wants to win.

On a team that blows....LOL.

Drummond was posting great numbers and trying, unlike BG and Harden.
"great" numbers? Made 47.4% of his shots and nearly all from 2-3 feet. offensive rating of 98. Defensive was 110. Guy who replaced him makes 62% of his shots (and takes a good amount from 12-15 feet and even 3 (not many but has hit 5 of 11). O and D rating of 129 and 110. Probably why they chose to play him instead.

decent, yes. Willing? Not often...at least in the short time we had him.

Nah.

Can he execute simple passes?

Yes.

But he either isn’t a willing passer or he doesn’t see the floor well at all (I think the latter).

To be a good passer you have to make consistently good decisions with the ball. Drummond doesn’t do that.
