I was wondering about them but yeah those are their only good players.

Still, they should be better than what they are. Ryan Saunders isn't looking like he's head coaching material.

Yes you would think he'd be the piece to put them over the top. But in a buyout it functions as waivers no? Same reason as before you would think someone would claim him before Brooklyn.

You know...a guy top 10 in rebounds, steals, and blocks getting waived. Lol wtf

Right, but if someone puts in a waiver claim wouldn’t they have to have the cap space for his remaining contract?

Not sure how that works.

But it could eliminate a lot of the teams who would want to put in a claim.

Good point. .

We have not really seen this because guys with his output don't get waived lol

Guess he would become a FA after that then.

A FA willing to play for peanuts because his salary has been bought out.

I don't think anyone could afford outright claiming him except the Knicks. Would they claim him just to mess with Brooklyn? Doubt it

Right.

Which comes back to my original point that a semi contender just might want to trade for him to block the Nets.

And he could help.

Obviously the cost would be low in terms of assets.

I just don't see what the Nets have that the Cavs would want

I know we are being fecitious but I like KD's chances of guarding some message board dudes lol

You sure?

I am 5’11 and pretty damn slow.

KD is a 7 foot athletic freak show. Ok yeah, he could probably lock me down.

Keeping seeing Suggs ranked ahead of Cade but how do you pass on that size out of a guy that can handle the rock. I would take my chances on Cade

Yes, I believe so. He'll clear waivers and get to choose where he wants to go.
