Now?

Sure.

But Green’s peak was definitely better than Rodman’s. Short lived as it was.
And even past his peak Green fulfills a similar role and value as Rodman most of his career. Great D, high basketball IQ, not much O, more assists, less rebounds. Rodman was also pretty useless on bad teams and very valuable on good ones.

And fans of other teams hated Rodman too

Green makes 31.8% of his 3's.....Nance 32.9%.

Marginally better and that's assuming Green doesn't get better as he gets older to extend his career.
This is true, but the guy has been getting worse and worse every season since he was a solid 38.8% in 2015-16, and he has been incredibly bad. .308, .301, .285, .279 to .125 in a handful of games this season.

Nance has gone from barely taking 3s to .332, .352, .387 this year.

No reason to believe Green will ever get better than .318 while Nance is showing good chance he will improve on the .329

Green vs Rodman would have been a heck of a matchup.

Green who? Don't feel like going back and reading comments right now.

Yeah, yeah, yeah fuck you! :heh: Think you mean the '92. season Had to look it up but it wasn't game 7. It was game 4.

Nance went 13-16 from the field. Finished with 32 pts, 7 rebs, 2 asts, 1 stl & 2 blks.

Was that the game you're talking about?
yep, must have been......Game 7 was the one entire team was on fire (59%). And Bird's last game, I think.

I say that as a huge fan of Bird and sucks he had to leave game as early as he did.

They are 28 and 30. Not a huge difference in age and Green could get better.....he's off to a slow start this season as he comes back from an injury.

Larry Nance, Mark, Price, Brady Daughety, Craig Ehlo......remember those Cavs pretty well.....

They were a scrappy team.
Thrilled with the title we got, but so would have rather had that group get one if I had a choice.

I mean, anything could happen. I guess very easy to get better than the beyond awful he has been the last few years.

Though certainly seems like Nance, the ascending 28-year-old would have a better chance to improve than Green, the regressing 31-year-old .

Yep

You're one of those "back in the day everyone was better" clowns
Clown huh? Their merits as players can be argued but I’ll guarantee you one thing, Green would completely disappear in a game with Rodman in it. I mean other than his fascination with testicles.

Hey man stop reminding me! Like I've said in the past I was at that game. By the end of his career he was shell of his former self. Glad I got to see him play live several times (some at the original Boston Garden) in his prime.
