Lebron's injury had to do with a defender diving into his legs. It's not exactly a matter of wear and tear or diminishing health.

Exactly. Sprained ankles are rarely fatigue related. Stepping on someone's foot, landing wrong or someone falling/diving into your legs is all it takes.

Nice pickup dere…

They also signed Austin Reeves (Oklahoma) to a 2 way deal. They also signed Chaundree Brown (Michigan) to an exhibit-10 deal and Mac McClung (Texas Tech) as a camp invite. If nothing else, the Vegas team just got a lot more fun to watch. Check out the highlights for McClung btw. If he sticks on the roster, could be a dunk contest possibility at 6'2 (bringing back memories of Shannon Brown with that highlight reel).

Next season will be back to normal after COVID fucked the world for a while.

They'll be healthy, that is why getting RW was key. He allows them to rest James and AD aka load management and not rush them back if they get hurt.

Signing Melo gives them another scorer also.

I agree with Schroder and the sign and trade for a shooter.

They both got hurt last year. Neither player was rushed back.

And guess what?

Neither player was healthy for the playoffs either.

Russ is insurance to keep you out of the 7 seed, but he does not help LeBron and AD stay healthy because their minutes and work load would be managed regardless.

We all knew this past year that LA was good enough to win as a 7 seed if they were healthy. They weren’t

It was a short turnaround due to COVID. Lots of players got hurt in playoffs.....next season should be back to normal.

James and AD didn't play for team USA to focus on getting healthy.

They will be healthy to start the season for sure.

But the Lakers aren’t going to keep them in bubble wrap. You are saying it is a given they will be healthy next May/June.

All I am saying is that it is far from a given.

In fact, I don’t think there is a team in the league (maybe Brooklyn) with more injury risk baked into their projections.

Kenny Smith bringing up a good point. RW running the show and James being more of a finisher than a facilitator...

Favors may not be long for OKC....Lakers need to call his agent if he doesn't last long there.

It sounds like it’s time for Adam Silver to follow precedent and step in and fuck the front office of the Thunder the same way his bald ass fucked the Sixers and made them fire Hinkie and hire wrinkled balls Colangelo.

Bottom line.....if anybody can make this work? It's LeBron James.

That is all.

Apparently AD said he would play more C to ease the fit of adding Westbrook.
