Injuries.I don’t know much about Porter Jr but is there a reason why he hasn’t played more than 40 games in a season since 2018?

Pro athletes do this stuff all the time and we never know about it. Good for him.
If nothing else can now use their MLE on a position of need and not a backup PG like caruso or McConnel.gotta say- its a pretty minor move- but im pretty happy with the Rubio deal- getting in a vet who can run the offense and play some defense and teach the young guys is a good thing.
LEtting Rubio play with Mobley will be very good for Mobley too.
plus- Rubio is the type of guy who could bring you something back at the trade deadline if you wanted to move him. Teams are always looking for a steady vet. point guard -especially on an expiring deal- around that time of year.
Got one more than I ever thought I'd see. Also a number of teams we could make that comment about.ain't happening in our lifetime...
they don't set these odds based on who they think will win....it's who they think the public will think will win. But, they aren't wrong very often.....they are pretty accurate picking who will win.
What did the C's give up for him?
I didn’t like move Curry for Richardson. He could fit in with a solid defensive team like Boston but not crazy about the move

So... they just got him by agreeing to take on his salary?Seems like the Hayward trade exception

Alright.
At first blush, I'm ok with a move like that. Obviously, Richardson was disappointing last season... but he's a good age and I've always liked his defense.
I guess this means the C's probably aren't paying Evan Fournier a new contract.
