Don't back out now. You said the Warriors COULDN'T pay KD and Klay because of the tax. I said they would. They offered and KD turned it down. Own your shit.
wtf? i said they would never have 4 max players. Again @tlance is just making up bullshit out of thin air.

Unsure if we are including 22nd pick in RW trade. If not...we could trade that for a shooter.

Sign and trade Schroder.
So a team gets to deal an asset so they can overpay a guy who has been a problem with 3 different locker rooms?

gotta say- its a pretty minor move- but im pretty happy with the Rubio deal- getting in a vet who can run the offense and play some defense and teach the young guys is a good thing.

LEtting Rubio play with Mobley will be very good for Mobley too.

plus- Rubio is the type of guy who could bring you something back at the trade deadline if you wanted to move him. Teams are always looking for a steady vet. point guard -especially on an expiring deal- around that time of year.

not only that - but a guy who is a free agent anyway....

this sign and trade schroeder busines really never made much sense to me. we shall see though- not going to say its impossible. just i dont get where it could make sense....

i mean- maybe a team wants to get rid of a salary and the lakers like the guy the team wants to get rid of - and that team wants schroeder but doesnt have enough money to sign him?

narrowing the field a lot there.

they would go way over the luxury tax which they havent been willing to do for a long time. The Cavs have over doubled how much lux. tax the Lakers have paid.

And as you were told back then, they would pay whatever they had to if they had a contending team and that is exactly what they've been doing since Lebron arrived and they became one again.

How far over the salary cap is Danny Deep Pockets right now? Is he spending well into the luxury tax? Or is he trying to get under the cap so that he can try to have the money to bring in better players?

I know which one he's doing if he ever wants to have a shot at another title in his lifetime.

wtf? are you on bath salts?

I said they were not going to have 4 maxes. KIlay Curry and Durant is 3

you think they offer Draymond what they did if Durant is there? HAHAHAAAHAAHA

I am not even saying they cut salary. I am saying their salary situation is going to choke them out from competing considering the deals are to guys who are already aging and they are long term deals.

its common sense. If you reward your older guys with max contracts that take them well into their 30's- at some time you are going to have to pay the piper and your flexiblity is going to choke you- becuase as those guys decline- you cant do much of anything to add to your team.

Except they had 2 maxes on the books and offered a 3rd to KD.

And yes.

They 100% for sure make the same deal
With Draymond with KD.

Without Draymond the rest of the pieces don’t work.

You know I am not making anything up.

What is funny is you taking victory laps as if you were right when you most clearly were not right.

And we all know it.

with RW's 44 million salary- its going to cost them a fortune in lux. tax to resign Caruso and Tucker. LeBron makes 41 and Davis 35.

just those 3 combine to make 120 million dollars. lol.

the luxury tax line is 132 million......

after that it gets expensive.

when you are between 133-137 million you pay 150% of the players salary

138-142 you pay 175% of the slary

143-147 you pay 250% of the players salary.

148-152 you pay 325% of the players salary.

Here we go, Detroit just made a salary dump..

Plumlee and the #37 to Charlotte for the #57.

@tlance Looks like my speculation may come true that they're in on Will Barton. SMH
