It's not. But it's not like Lebron doesn't know how to work with guys who aren't a great fit.
No doubt. Can't wait to see them work together
Cavs fans can be forgiven for not really knowing that. It's not a counter to the argument. It's just logistics. Name me a team that won an NBA Championship that was not cap strapped? It's the price you pay for winning.
Outside of last year there were 6 teams that made the NBA Finals from 2013-2020. 5 of them didn't make the playoffs this year.
Winning has a cost.
FIFYain't happening until the sun engulfs the earth..
Deck chairs, Titanic, etc etcgotta say- its a pretty minor move- but im pretty happy with the Rubio deal- getting in a vet who can run the offense and play some defense and teach the young guys is a good thing.
LEtting Rubio play with Mobley will be very good for Mobley too.
plus- Rubio is the type of guy who could bring you something back at the trade deadline if you wanted to move him. Teams are always looking for a steady vet. point guard -especially on an expiring deal- around that time of year.
What other 3rd star were they going to get for what they traded to Washington? Not the one we needed.
knew that would be part of the deal. ah well...Lakers gave up their 1st…I thought they didn’t
