It is what it is. Sure we all make jokes about NBAers with lesser talent. But even the worst rated player in the league would smoke the average joe in a game of one on one.

He's a 21 year old kid that's banked 5+ million. And even if he's not with the Lakers next season at his age some team will be interested in him.

Kuz doesn’t have any trade value because his production doesn’t match his contract. Easy call for the Pacers.

He is not a trade asset.

So if they can find a player like Hield who someone else is trying to move on from, that is a great deal for them.

Yeah well the Cavs are still looking for their star, the Celtics found their one or two with Brown and Tatum...but honestly, I don't know what the Cavs are looking for, it's hard enough to attract players to CLE.

I remember an interesting topic question on a show here. was sometime in mid-late May and asked would you want to FF directly to football season. Obvious drawback is you don't get a summer.

Exactly. I think it’s a purposeful leak to send the message that if your organization values Ben Simmons that it’s going to cost you some major assets and that he’s not moving off of what he thinks Simmons’ value is. I actually read it as a move of weakness and I’m not encouraged by it because it likely means that he’s not getting much of anything he likes in the conversations he is having with other front offices.
