If I'm Detroit they don't have anything that would make me make the deal if it doesn't include SGA.

Well there is less than a zero percent chance of that happening, there is a chance none of these guys will be as good as he is.

Very likely that multiple players in this class will be better than SGA.

I would bet on it in fact.

SGA is a very good young player. But he isn’t as good as you think he is. He is a high quality piece. Not a cornerstone.

At least one of them will be better than him. Without question.

OKC has one top 10 pick in the next two drafts. If they aren't throwing SGA in there I don't believe there is any chance of a deal.

Just hide and watch when they get some pieces around him. We will see I guess.

If you are right there won’t be a deal then.

We will see.

My comments aren’t taking anything away from him either. There are like 7-8 cornerstone type players in the entire league.

SGA not going to get there.

There are a couple guys in this draft class who just might.

Odds are you are right but we will see. My argument comes from the fact that he already leads the league in number of drives per game. We haven’t seen his best yet I don’t think, maybe not close to it.

Sure there's a chance none of those guys are as good as SGA. Not the point, though. Point is without including SGA seems highly unlikely OKC could put together a package for the #1 pick.

You think they can go far if SGA is their best player?

Sorry if I missed it, but have you said what could reasonably be offered that doesn't include SGA that Detroit would want for #1?

We will see, it’s all about posturing at this point. The Thunder only want to go as high as they need to in order to get Mobley.

Look there is a chart for all of this but the 6, 16 and 18 for starters. The Thunder have tons of draft picks, plus their own that will be valuable for a couple more years. I don’t expect the Thunder to go all the way to 1, but with all the draft picks and cap space they are going to be a very desirable trade partner.

No disagreement there. Only disagreement is you saying something to the effect they could acquire any pick they wanted and wouldn't even need to include SGA.

It’s not an outlandish statement at all, they have the assets.

This is not quite like the NFL and the chart would change from year to year. IF what we are hearing about Cade (and top 4 overall) is true, you'd likely need at least a top 4 pick in this draft to get them to consider. Doubt they'd care much about 16 or 18. Not their fault, but getting the 6th pick wont help them much here IMO. Unless the team picking near the top does not agree with the hype of this draft.
