they could still sign and trade Schroeder if they traded for kembaThat's a relief personally. I'm all about sending Kuzma for a different piece, but trading for Kemba with the #22 potentially means Schroder will walk with nothing in return and they have used their draft pick. No way to replace Kuzma on the roster unless it's a vet min deal for someone like Melo.

At what point do they become hard-capped?
If they acquire a player via sign ans trade or use the big mle (which they used on Harrell last year) or they use the bae (which they can’t this year because they used it last year on matthews)
For some reason I was thinking of the Kuzma/pick for Kemba as being a S&T, which would've kept them from another S&T.
I have a feeling they'll keep their pick this year and probably look to move Kuz and possibly THT if they can get good value in return.
Don't see them going for Kemba or DeRozan.
They should go for DeRozan
Only if they're expecting Lebron or AD to be injured multiple games next season.
He wouldn't work very well if Lebron and AD are healthy.
well really it's only AD with the injury issues. LBJ not so much. but the ones he's getting take him out for a number of games. father time is undefeated...If they go into the season not expecting them BOTH to be injured multiple games it will be a huge mistake.

that said, I like DeMar, but I also am not sure where he'd fit on the Lakers' roster...
6th man role IMO.

Regular season injuries can be absorbed. Need to be healthy and locked in for the postseason is the issue.
Rumors flying around the OKC about ongoing talks with the Pistons.
Why?
Ummm for the first pick in the draft.
The Thunder own 3000 first round picks over the next few years. Is that not enough?
