I need nance in Boston.

but his versatility fits so many teams. Dude can switch to like every position.

he’s one of my borderline unhealthy obsessions
So I've heard (well, read). Guessing Cs only a fit if a 3rd team involved as not sure they have the wing the Cavs would want (and they'd trade).

Just rumors so who know but does seem like with addition of Mobley and need for a wing Cavs might be more inclined to be willing to move Nance, Jr. If true, seems like Memphis would be first call (Brooks or Anderson)

I really like Nance - cue Stripes crowd sarcastically saying "no, no" to Ox when he says he has a weight problem - but have to think his role could be reduced somewhat with Mobley who I would think they hope can do everything Nance can and more eventually (other than shoot, which hopefully he improves as Nance did).
I don’t see the Grizz giving up Brooks but we will see.

Might be right as I don't know Memphis' needs. I think Cavs would have to add a pick or picks to it for Nance and/or take a bad contract. Though Nance and Brooks have similar deals so to add a bad contract the Cavs would have to add money, too.

This whole thing with Noel is really sad. I mean it's hard to feel bad for a guy who is still making Millions, but the fact that he could have had much, much more sucks.

While he does get his share of blame, he was only 22 at the time when Rich Paul was whispering sweet nothings in his ear. I can't even remember what it was like to be 22 and be that impressionable. You also have to factor in these guys have had tons of yes men in their corners so that inflates their actual value even more. Its terrible he didn't have someone in his corner to breakdown the pros and cons of this situation.

While I doubt this suit brings anywhere close to the missed opportunity of that 58M, I do think some restitution is coming Noel's way if they do find out that Paul was actively ignoring phone calls and opportunities for Noel. I hope he gets at least some of this money back.

I'd have more sympathy if he hadn't decided against going to Syracuse, lol. Just imagine, Rakeem Christmas and Nerlens Noel both in Syracuse; happy holidays for all! Plus, he shares a b-day with me...

Interesting. Similar salaries. For Cavs to be interested would have to believe Lamb is healthy (guess Indy could think same of Nance) and is big enough to guard SFs. Again, while Nance seems like he could fit somewhere into nearly any team not sure what Indy needs.

Just came to mind since Lamb was rumored to the Lakers, even though they have nobody to trade for him (minor detail lol). I knew the salaries were close.

I agree he is definitely someone Cavs should consider.

Other than their website, ESPN has always been fucking terrible.

How they still allow JvG and Mark Jackson to commentate, i'll never know.

Leave Van Gundy out of this. He's actually pretty good, especially when he's not with Jackson

No he’s really not. He spends 90% talking about things other than the game he’s meant to commentate on.

That isn’t true.

He does go off script sometimes when trying to be funny. But he is extremely knowledgeable.

They don’t bother me.
yeah he is just trying to liven it up, you gotta have one huy like that but he knows his shit

I actually kind of like that. Imo, the best announcers can weave in all kinds of interesting stories from the past and still talk about the game they're announcing.

Vin Scully was the king of that. Van Gundy is no Vin Scully, but I do like his stories and "digressions". Same with Reggie Miller.
