Seeing you admit you were wrong was a surprise.I'm glad you see this as a monumental win.
Nothing here is monumental.

Nope...the irony was you were, in your words, "a dick" before you realized how foolish your comment was. Instead of just owning how dumb it was, you asked if I would be a dick about it.The irony is you were being destroyed by other posters and you're using me as an escape to gloat.
I don't really disagree, but it's possible the Cavs do think sexton is what they want and/or could not get what they wanted in return. Perhaps if they drafted Knox they move on quicker?
I've thought for a while this season was their last shot to find an elite piece as I didn't think they'd be bad enough to get another pick near the top. Can only hope they found such a guy in Mobley. Is it enough to make them relevant? I have my doubts but we'll find out in 2-3 years.
I mean, if he has a rookie year like some who have the promise he's supposed to have I think we'll be in running for a play-in at worse if healthy. In this market our only hope might be improvement from all the young guys. No doubt what you are saying could happen.Unless Mobley is the 2nd coming of Kareem, the Cavs are probably looking at another season or 2 in the lottery and then may be a season or 2 with mid-level 1st round picks before all those kids are truly ready. So, you should at least be able to pick up some solid help or use the picks as part of a trade for more immediate help to fill holes.

You're both right (and wrong)What's comical is that you don't think it actually happens in the NBA when even on this board multiple people are telling you that it does.
I think 35-40 could be realistic, depending on progression of Okoro and what they can get from Mobley as a rookie.so you got cleveland with 42-45 wins?

Pretty sure all but one person knew players on the court play hard. Cavs also kept guys out longer than maybe they would have if they needed to win.....which is tanking. You're both right (and wrong)
Players always play hard, for the reasons dt said. But management decides whether to tank or not and the Cavs have been trying their best to win games. They haven't been keeping guys out with phantom injuries or dealing pieces away to get worse. Hell they signed Kevin Love for some reason. So yes the Cavs sucked and aren't tanking, but no players do not stop playing hard even on tanking teams.
35 would put them in the running which is what I said. I don't see the Bulls or Hornets being all that. Pacers, if healthy, I think could be 4-5 seed.35 not good enough for the play-in game IMO if the Bulls, Hornets, and Pacers will be as good as I think
The Bulls now have a starting rotation with Vucevic, DeRozan, LaVine, and Ball. They are going to win more games than Cleveland for sure.35 would put them in the running which is what I said. I don't see the Bulls or Hornets being all that. Pacers, if healthy, I think could be 4-5 seed.
If they don’t….there is something desperately wrongThe Bulls now have a starting rotation with Vucevic, DeRozan, LaVine, and Ball. They are going to win more games than Cleveland for sure.

I’m interested to see who the #1 is on that teamYep. Should be top 8

They signed Kevin Love 3 years ago. Possible/likely they've been tanking since.
Definitely. The Bulls are a lot better than the Cavs. The Bulls now have a starting rotation with Vucevic, DeRozan, LaVine, and Ball. They are going to win more games than Cleveland for sure.
