Understood, but he would only have a decent role due to Kyrie's injury. Besides, even if he re-signs with the Nets (which could be his intent), he can get more than 12.3M.

He would have filled the #3 role which they were lacking without Irving.....since Harris was horrible. And the contract has nothing to do with him playing in a game 7 when he's already under contract.

Don't see the Olympic team trying to get Kevin Love out there. Or even Sexton.

It is about more than ranking players based on how well they can score.

Dinwiddie is a point/combo guard. Harris is a wing shooter who can guard bigger players.

Harris played poorly, but Dinwiddie cannot replace Harris.

Maybe he could have replaced Kyrie.
