You know what I meant....
You suggested that the Nets change their minutes allocation for their stars...

... to a range they used last season.

:noidea:

A lot of folks have praised the Brooklyn Nets and their team building...

... we're now another year into that process, their (aging) core players will now be another year older next season, and the Nets have jack squat to show for it so far.

Oh yeah, their future is mortgaged too.

the biggest problem was listening to the idiot players and signing deandre Jordan to an awful contract and dinwiddies injury and not turning his bird rights into another useful player (IE pj tucker).

but finding guys like Claxtln in round 2, drafting and developing guys who were assets for harden and finding Joe Harris and Bruce brown off the scrap heap was all fantastic work.

the lesson: players are retards, don’t listen to them about anything

It is possible another team makes a big unforeseen move to get on their level, but not likely.

We still have no idea how the Nets will respond as a team because they weren’t healthy and they didn’t face a legit challenger.

Milwaukee might win the title this year, but they are still very flawed too.
And will likely lose a lot of their Bench due to lack of bird rights.

really curious if they keep tucker

Yeah, it sounds weird to say, but there is such a thing as too much talent. You have 3 players who are ball dominant and all think they're the #1 guy and then you have a couple of others who think they're, at worst, #2's. Who does the dirty work?

Harden seemed to be good with being a distributor more than anything else, but I wonder how long that lasts. I also wonder how long KD and Kyrie will be happy having to depend on Harden setting them up. Especially Kyrie.

Hmmmmm, wondering what kind of deal he could get coming off that injury?

And why doesn't he want to play there for a year and get a chance at a ring? He could always leave after next season.....

Pretty simple.

He hasn’t been paid yet.

He won’t put up numbers playing behind Kyrie and Harden.

I would expect him to opt out.

He's a (potentially) good fit with the Celtics... if financially possibly, (and it may be possible if the C's can't get a reasonable deal out of Fournier and have to back off there).

He'd be a serious 6th man candidate.

Doubtful.

The touches aren’t there.

When Harden rests, the offense goes through Kyrie. Always at least 1 star on the court to be the usage hog when reserves are out there.

He would probably play 25 - 30 minutes and average 13-15 PPG.

A player in his situation is going to prefer to play somewhere where he can have a bigger role. Brooklyn is 1 of like 3-4 teams in the league where he wouldn’t start.

You think a team wouldn't wanna see him play a full season before throwing a big contract at him?

How much you think he can get? He's turning down 12.3 mill, which isn't chump change.

In today's NBA, 12-13 mil kind of is chump change for FA players who are least solid.

Might figure he can take a 1 or 2 year deal someplace where he can get the minutes he needs to show he's all the way back from the injury. Then go for the big money the following off-season.
