The Q
Hoop’s Villain, Reality’s Hero
I don’t think he can do that by himself. He is a solid player.
Im assuming Steph isn’t totally cooked. Even if he’s not an alpha on a title team anymore
it’s probably more like they’re stuck in purgatory.

do you "know" in the sense that unnamed players said so or would anyone actually come on record then or since? I do recall he wanted out because didn't think he could win so certainly could see if teammates took exception to that.I have no idea how his relationships are with the current players in Cleveland.
But I do know that he was widely disliked by teammates in Minnesota. Apparently he was a pretty major jackass back then.
It's not Cavs level bad that you'll never, never, never win another title but hopefully you realize they will never win another one that you'll see. That's an interesting one. I'm fine dealing Wiseman and the pick to win now. The window is only another 2-3 years really.
Au contraire I expect to see another in the next 2-3 years, and then probably they will win one here and there a few more times before I die. Cavs not so much, as we both know. It's not Cavs level bad that you'll never, never, never win another title but hopefully you realize they will never win another one that you'll see.

That's it? I thought for sure you'd counter with another 3 of 4 stretch.....even though you know you've seen your last.Au contraire I expect to see another in the next 2-3 years, and then probably they will win one here and there a few more times before I die. Cavs not so much, as we both know.
Did you really? That's it? I thought for sure you'd counter with another 3 of 4 stretch.....even though you know you've seen your last.
In fact I did. You let me down.Did you really?
That's dumb. Obviously I wouldn't expect another 3 titles. We no longer have one of the best teams in history. We just have a title contender. Something the Cavs will never be again. In fact I did. You let me down.

Isn't to say it didn't happen but doubt his current team/teammates cares what happened with his former team.
In truth, you are the Cavs as far as your lifetime (wont see a title) but figured you might go way beyond homer for this conversation. That's dumb. Obviously I wouldn't expect another 3 titles. Cannot say I knew much about him as far as personality on the Wolves but would have needed to be a quick change as when he got here he seemed like a quiet guy who didn't want drama.Nobody on record.
Inside info from a contact I used to have who was on the Twolves staff. Son was on a team I coached.
This isn't working dt. But sure keep trying this on me, have fun with that.In truth, you are the Cavs as far as your lifetime (wont see a title) but figured you might go way beyond homer for this conversation.

Maybe as mentioned, some didn't like that he didn't think he could win with them.....no different than like many other studs who have asked to be moved?
Kind of hard to believe. Would have had to make a complete 180 in his personality. Possible? I guess...but doesn't seem likely. What my source said was that the year he was injured, he would sit on the sidelines in his street clothes and mock teammates about how much they sucked and how they couldn’t do anything without him.
Maybe playing 3rd fiddle behind LeBron and Kyrie was the ego check he needed?

GSW is done. That's it? I thought for sure you'd counter with another 3 of 4 stretch.....even though you know you've seen your last.
gotta remember how crappy his teams were in MIN. They were bad. I went back and looked once and it was even worse than I thought it would be.I mean, got the info straight from somebody who knew him personally.
Believe what you want.
But obviously he was in a position to lead in Minnesota. Not at all in Cleveland. Very believable that he would act different. Love wasn’t going to cross LeBron.
Now he is older, more experienced and a different person.
GSW is done.
and honestly- before this streak- they were historically a very shiity team.
I think the Cavs are taking Mobley and I dont like it. No way Houston takes Mobley.
