Oh, did another Gopher just win another Natl Title? lol YEP!!!
So UMn gets how much in donations from Nike?
Since the Sears Director's Cup started, UMn's best finish? 7th. Oregon's? 9thFred when you start talking about 21st century Football or Basketball:
Since the Sears Director's Cup started, UMn's best finish? 7th. Oregon's? 9th
7th is better than 9th.
UMn's worst finish? 31st. Oregon's? 63rd.
31st is WAY better than 63rd.
So basically, Minnesota is on equal footing with EVERY OTHER college sports program on earth basically, CEPT OREGON, who gets all that special attention from the CHILD SLAVE LABOR guy.I don’t know the details of Minnesota’s contract. I don’t go around looking for irrelevant information
People care about Hockey, otherwise a guy like Blake Wheeler wouldn't be making 10 million a year for playing hockey.Who cares? Minnesota is still irrelevant in any sport that people care about and has been for over 20 years

And Oregon is BARELY relevant. Trips to the Sweet 16 are nice, but honestly, hardly memorable. Historically they are insignificant, except when they build up over time, but of course they are better than not getting there at all. And yeah, Oregon got to a Final Four, the 3rd highlight of the Universities entire existence, congrats, lol, and Oregon got to the Championship game in football, back in 2014, the highlight of the universities entire existence, AND LOST, congrats. A lot has happened since then. History rarely remembers losers very fondly,, if at all. Since then, has Oregon gotten back to the cfp? Even once? lol No, mighty Oregon football has barely outdone my Gophers, just barely getting into the top 20 in 2015 and then going 3 seasons in a row not even getting into the Top 25 AP rankings, only once in those 3 years even getting votes, no better than UMn did, and then going 12-2 compared to UMn's 11-2 in 2019. Basically no difference, So how is Oregon so relevant? Only compared to my lowly Gophers it seems, lol. Doesn't say too much about the frigging webfoots.Who cares? Minnesota is still irrelevant in any sport that people care about and has been for over 20 years
And only ONE is getting millions upon millions in donations from Nike/it's founders.Every college doesn't have a contract with Nike. Minnesota does.
Does Oregon have any 10 million a year athlete alums?People care about Hockey, otherwise a guy like Blake Wheeler wouldn't be making 10 million a year for playing hockey.
