Speculation is that Siemen goes to the West Coast. 2B for the Giants or SS for the Mariners are both possibilities.Hoping the Jays keep Siemen.
Would love Ray as well buy Siemen is 1st choice.

High strikeout rate. He just needs to cut down on home runs.
Brett Gardner won't look right in anything but pinstripes.
No kidding. That short porch didn't do him any favors.Glad he'll be doing that somewhere other than the Bronx.
Definitely a possibility. I wouldn't count the Jays out.Speculation is that Siemen goes to the West Coast. 2B for the Giants or SS for the Mariners are both possibilities.

Pending a physical. 3 very important words in this case. Thor hasn't pitched a full season recently and only has thrown 2 innings in the past couple of years. MLB Network reported that he has not thrown a breaking pitch since his surgeries.Sources: Syndergaard, Angels reach $21M deal
Noah Syndergaard, who has pitched only two innings in the majors since undergoing Tommy John surgery in March 2020, on Tuesday reached a one-year deal with the Angels that sources say is worth $21 million.www.espn.com
Great signing for the Jayshi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports that the Blue Jays and right-hander José Berrios have agreed to a seven-year, $131 million extension, pending a physical.
Jon Heyman of MLB Network was first to report news of the agreement while Jon Morosi of MLB.com reported the length of the deal. The new agreement will cover his final year of arbitration and six free agent years, taking him through his age-34 season. Acquired from the Twins in July, Berrios posted a 3.52 ERA and 204/45 K/BB ratio over 192 innings this past season. The future of Robbie Ray is in question, but the Blue Jays can at least feel secure that Berrios is in the fold for the long-term.
Will the Braves let him go just because of another year? Especially if there is a DH in the NL.At 31 years old? Must be nice to be in his world......
