I'd honestly like to see Toro start the season as Seattle's third baseman and see how he does.

Not a good idea. If he doesn't work out, you are screwed for the year because you have no backup option and a deadline trade will cost you big. I hope they keep him, but let him earn it first. Go get Chapman and when he does on the IL, and he will, then Toro gets his chance. Or go get Bohm from Philly and take whomever is the real deal at the time so you do have a Plan B on hand.

hard to say....but..if you draft...high...you are either...loaded...high on the water line...or you have a good chance..if you have good numbers...so
williamson..kirby...and hancock...added...will give the mariners a good chance...........at excellence

Eh, IMO if they are truly going to compete for a wild card spot they can only really afford to have Kelenic and JRod as the unproven guys. Toro should get plenty of playing time but IMO he should not be a starter at 3B. Plus if they aren’t going to spend then they better be making some serious trades to fill out the offense.

If by 2024 he is talked about as an ace then the Mariners are in the WS convo. Ray is at a minimum 1b. Marco has proven to be a great 3rd starter with ace outings from time to time and Gilbert definitely showed his ceiling is an ace and floor is a 3rd starter. Would be a hell of a staff for a playoff series if they can fix the offense.

i dis agree...i look at julio fraley.kelenic..and even trammell....as really good...AAA..guys...whoever..breaks out...(i got a 4 to 2 chance 50pct)...get rid of any of them...and you will wish you had them back.......add conforto...good idea....

everyone has a purpose...frazier...2B/utility..insurance..and 3b...back up toro...frazier..can do it...or..just be 3b for that matter..and mariners still get story...
