Anyway there still better be some money being spent. They are still only 25th in payroll. Dont let the Ray signing fool you into thinking they have done enough.
2021- Seagar 18.5 mil, Kikuchi 16.5 mil= 35 mil
2022- Frazier 7.5 mil, Ray 21 mil= 28.5 mil

In terms of that they have actually saved some money from an already low payroll

This however could mean they are lowballing him tho. Its tough to tell. I wanted him either extended or trade a couple of years ago and last year obviously if the team had even performed a little bit worse, a trade in season could have made sense. Now an extension is kind of awkward for both sides because I doubt they would see eye to eye.

this is the real story............if haniger....wants to play here......he will...if he wants san francisco....he will play there...that is the real story...
if he wants san fran....i could see a holding..pattern.....waiting for yaz...maybe contract extention...or one or 2 year..cont..
