Trubisky got 25Watson got a 20
Mahomes got a 24
Yes. Thanks for the correction.
Taylor is the fumble master. Not Swift.
18 fumbles!!
Remember when this discussion came up last year with Miles Sanders being the focus of everyone's (fumble) worries? Did it scare you away? If so are you more likely to turn a blind eye toward JT?
fumbled on 1.8% of his NCAA touches....I'd bet it isn't a problem at the pro level if I had to.
Won't be the first 'fumble prone' college guy to not have that problem as a pro
Unless you pick ahead of my in D2, than yes, he fumbles so much don't take that guy
Half of Sanders fumbles came on special teams fielding the ball not really the same thing. Most of Taylors fumbles are running without securing the ball.
The game is different now. Teams have no tolerance for those kind of mistakes.
Taylor had 968 touches in his college career through 41 games.
That averages to 23.4 touches per game.
For reference, there was only 1 NFL player that averaged more than 23.4 touches per game last season.
My point is, I doubt that Taylor gets those kind of numbers in the NFL.
Zero chance in hell he gets that many touches/game in NFL

Maybe because I'm picking on him, the 1.8% is "hidden" by those touches.
He had a 43% chance of fumbling each game.
Maybe this isn't fair? Some of the greats had some surprising fumble stats.
Tony Dorsett, Eric Dickerson and Franco Harris fumbled in 52% of their games.
Jim Brown 48% of games.
Walter Payton 45% of games.
Marcus Allen fumbled in only 29% of his games.
Emmitt Smith 27%

Wow that's a lot of tread on those tires too...
Its not that unrealistic in the last 4 seasons there have been 4 rookie RBs that finished as a top 5 RB(Zeke RB2, Hunt RB4, Kamara RB3, and Barkley RB1) as rookies.
Since it was usage- amount of touches- not necessarily production:Its not that unrealistic in the last 4 seasons there have been 4 rookie RBs that finished as a top 5 RB(Zeke RB2, Hunt RB4, Kamara RB3, and Barkley RB1) as rookies.
