Turns out the reports of Jerald Hawkins coming back were untrue...

This has to mean either Gray, Coyle or Jones get activated off PS right?

Another option...

Steelers get DeCastro back from injury, move Feiler back to RT & Dotson to LG, and then promote Gray from PS.

Not a bad move for short term until Wis is healthy again. Gray is listed at OT, but has received lots of practice inside. They may even call up Seattle & see what they want for BJ Finney, who is a backup over there.

Doubt anything big like this happens though. They'll likely just plug Chuks & Dotson in while Wis gets healthy, and promote Gray for a few games.

I think I like what Chuks brings to RT better, however plugging in 2 brand new pieces to the right side of the O-line is sketchy. I pray that DeCastro is back this week. Nothing against Dotson... He's just a rookie. If Chuks & Dotson are in, then as a DC I would blitz & stunt blitz the hell outta those gaps. Which also leaves Pouncey exposed.

Yeah it’s more that it’s an entire side of the line that worries me.... we saw what happened to wentz and the eagles..... think it could get ugly

Yep. Luckily Ben is so vet-savvy and this isn't his blind side we are talkin about. He can manipulate the pocket with his legs to help. Certainly won't alleviate all the possible issues, but definitely help. Being able to see the weakness & able to audible on the fly to account for it & even work with Sandy Sphincter to counter it.

IDK... After his quote today sayin he feels like he was in a car accident after the game because of how sore he is... Maybe he'll try avoiding more hits lol

Nah that’s part of what makes him Ben. Is his willingness to stand tall to make a play.... he needs to stop but wont

True. Also supports the passive diva in him... By playing up injuries even if they are minor

Guess it was made official this week that Hawkins was indeed signed. Not sure why there was a confusion.

It's min 3 weeks then he can return, at least.

No surgery required, which is great.
Wasn’t this the same injury that ended Heyward’s 2016 season? I think that was towards the middle of the season & required surgery though. Curious if he comes back if there are any limitations.
