I saw KD get snippy at times in Golden State where the local media is nearly the complete opposite of the NY media (at least from my perception). The Warriors in his 3 years there, won two titles and they were winning at a near record pace. He's not going to be walking into an already built culture. It's now up to him and Kyrie (potentially Harden as well) to build said culture. I can't think of bigger potential disaster.

He's gonna find out real quick that the Nets aren't the Warriors. And if they do get Harden which of three will take a back seat? All three of them are ball dominant players.

LOL so I guess he didn't reject it this time. What a piece of work
Slight difference now right, the thunder truly are in full rebuild mode. Let’s see if he resigns with lakers.

Also it's fine to throw this as Kyrie's fault, but let's not forget KD was also unhappy with his touches in GS. That was one of the biggest reasons he wanted to leave. GS had a system in which the ball wasn't dominated by any one player. Now KD is in Brooklyn with a ball dominant Kyrie and you want to add another ball dominant guard in Harden.

Yeah, that's going to be fantastic long term.

Yes. I very much want to see that.

To be fair, he may not have known that they were going to be blowing it up. Plus, unless I missed something, trade hasn't happened yet.

That's why we need to speak it into existence.

He knew but he wanted to see what that team could do. Thunder are a top notch organization, that has never been disputed.

I can see why Phoenix would want CP3. But I can't see why CP3 would want Phoenix.
I guess he likes not having to deal wirh a Harden type and maybe he likes what he sees to finish out his career. All I know is the thunder have somehow gotten out of 2 contracts that were thought to be immovable and the future is interesting to say the least.

Wow. That makes me like him even more. He could have bailed and got a ring. Instead he stayed with his team.

Love that.

Hope the trade goes through.

Maybe. He'd be great to mentor the young Suns. At his age, I'd have thought he'd want to go to a contender.
