no doubt. an important cog in the Lakers D and great tenacity...
He was their most consistent shooter from 3 as well.

no doubt in my mind. there's something EXTREMELY wrong with that cat...@ChiefsLakers67
It's funny enough that GiGi now calls you a white guy. Now he's called dole a white guy too in the dayshifters thread. He ain't right.
hey now, his Lord Master said it gets rid o' Covid. so down the hatch, blind sheep follower...He's perfect example of what can happen when someone drinks bleach.
then comes the guys like Joker and Embiid. no, we gotta have the big body. I like JaVale, but he ain't hanging with those dudes...I don't think a C is actually needed.
They can start McGee for 18mpg. Then play AD play AD there for 15mpg. And split the remaining 15mpg between James and Harrell in smallball lineups. C by committee so to speak.
Yeah wing depth could be limited with a Bogu trade.I liked Serge too. Having said that, Harrell could also be a move for the future as well. He's only 26 and if things work out, could be a key piece to have around with AD (who's 27) when Lebron is gone.
I'm happy that the Lakers not only got better, but got younger as well.
As much as the Lakers could use him, I'm starting to agree with some others re: Bogi. If the Kings insist on both Kuz and KCP, I think I might want to pass. They can have one or the other, not both. Considering salaries, it would likely have to be KCP.
Getting a guy like Gasol would just give them another option though. He can spread the floor as well as guard those big 5’s. McGee can only play limited minutesI don't think a C is actually needed.

my point exactly...Getting a guy like Gasol would just give them another option though. He can spread the floor as well as guard those big 5’s. McGee can only play limited minutes
Wasn’t the spread vs Utah basically a pick em?
What’s up with slovis? I expected your offense to be hanging 40 a game with all that talent.
Playing AD and Janes at C for 23 or so minutes gives them a 3 shooter at the podition..
Yeah. All makes sense. Just they play a huge octane game. I was really high on them. Stil am. But have been kinda surprised by the slow start. Fwiw I always look at spreads. Regardless of wagering. Kinda always gives me an idea of what to maybe expect from the games. USC opened as a field goal favorite. They closed as a one point favorite. So it was expected to be a really close gameI'm not sure. I think USC was favored by about a field goal. I don't gamble, so I didn't really look.
I'm not sure. Some folks have been speculating that something is wrong with his arm. He hurt it last year vs. Iowa. I just don't see how it would still be an issue though because it wasn't a serious injury.
The ball has come out funny a few times and he hasn't appeared to have the velocity he did last year. But in the 4th quarter of both games against the Arizona schools, he looked like the guy he was last year. Same velocity and everything. The game winning touchdown pass that he threw to Drake London against ASU was amazing. threaded it through 2 defenders.
I think that it's mostly been about the way the defenses have played them. Last year, he caught everyone by surprise. Now, there's film on him so teams have come up with schemes to take away some of what he does well. Both Arizona schools used a soft zone, kept everything in front of them and waited for USC to make mistakes, which they did. Against ASU, it was turnovers, against Arizona, it was drive killing penalties.
True. And you risk wearing both of them down.
A big part of what made the Lakers so good last year was that they could match any lineup that a team wanted to throw at them.
Want to go big, they bring in Javale/Dwight...want to go small, they shift AD to the 5, bring in Kieff or Kuz to play the 4 and are still the bigger team.
Yeah.Getting a guy like Gasol would just give them another option though. He can spread the floor as well as guard those big 5’s. McGee can only play limited minutes
Right now Toronto has no big men...not sure who they would get if they dont get Gasol back
