On the west coast. I miss having the 10 am starts. I can watch my race & still have the rest of the day to go do other things. Only time it wasnt a 10 am start is if the race wasnt on the east coast. Example west coast race was at 1pm.

I dont care for the format they have nowadays.

Chase Elliott just pretty much took out Michael McDowell. Where's @BPNAZ ?

Well, I bet on the devil, and I got what I deserved. Figured Kyle Busch would be the one to beat since he had a full race of practice yesterday and ran well, but he just plowed up the wall.

1 out of 3 ain't bad though. Briscoe covered me in the Busch race, so I'm not losing a whole lot on the day.

Think we've had more wrecks today in the three races combined than the last 10 years at Pocono with all series combined.

    And of course Hamlin wins.

But on the bright side, we're done with Pocono for the year.

Reddick’s bad day yesterday wasn’t his fault. Team didn’t get the belt right enough or something. Started the race 5 laps down and finished 5 laps down. Only like 18 cars on the lead lap, that’s probably at least a top 15 finish if not starting in a huge hole

i always thought Pocono was overrated, "tricky trian.........zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz"

The tracks only claim to fame were the restarts, and thats it. Used to be home to some spectacular wrecks but that was before they decided to get rid of all the grass in the back

if they are hellbent in continuing to stay in that market, then a shortened doubleheader weekend is the way to go

pocono has always been interesting to me. They started downward for me when Nascar manipulated rules so they couldnt shift. Some teams put so much R&D to have such high sustained RPMs to be competitive & others started shifting. Started with shifting for the long straightaway, but then they learned to shift at several places on the track. Eventually nascar mandated certain gearing so they couldnt shift anymore.
I am a fan of doubleheader weekends.
if they arent gonna add Short tracks back to the calendar. I hope they start double heading some of those tracks as well. Only difference. maybe the Sat. race be a bit shorter but Sunday full length.

I guess the tv contracts are for certain races, not dates.

NBC will show the Brickyard on Sunday, then back to Fox next week.

I’ll have to dvr it since I have Saturday afternoon plans, but I’m really interested to see what the Brickyard road course looks like for the Busch Series. If it’s a good layout, I’m in favor of the Cup series running it in the future. To me, the Indianapolis oval and stock cars have never been a good mix. You don’t see Indy Cars taking on Bristol

I went to 2 IndyCar races at Richmond in the early 2000s. It was a world of difference to see someone racing around Richmond at 160+MPH instead of 120 MPH.

Jimmie Johnson tested positive for COVID-19 and he was wearing a mask most of the time!

The geniuses scheduled yet another race for 4PM EST, and for the 5th time in a row, there's lightning in the area due to a late afternoon popup storm, which happens daily in the summer. Start the fucking raced earlier. I'm about over weather delays.

That's the biggest pitroad crash I have ever seen. Pretty sure one of Blaney's crew members is hurt. He got hit by one of the cars in the wreck and pretty well crawled out of the way, and they never showed him getting up. Hope he's ok. Harvick's strategy makes more sense now. Easy to get caught up in somebody else's BS on a narrow, crowded pit road.

I have seen the pit road accident that killed a crew member. Which made a lot of all these crew rules. Like the helmets.
