Agree with the assessments re: AS Saturday. That was fun.

Aaron Gordon should have won, you jump over a 7'5" dude, you win.

Seeing old man Dwight not embarrass himself in the dunk contest was fun. Agree with @wildturkey that first dunk deserved a better score.

I think part of the judges problem in the dunk contest was that they gave out too many 10's too early. You just gave a guy a 10, then a guy comes up with a better dunk...now what? lol

Agree that bringing back the .5 would help.

Probably because its a big gambling event.
If he gives a 10, its another tie.
By next year, there will some scoring rule change.

Aaron Gordon is a much bigger dude... it's what Gordon is able to do with 30 or 40 extra lbs on him compared to Jones Jr... gotta factor that in.

That said: they both did great last night... Gordon shoulda won, though.

Im not saying what Gordon did wasn’t impressive. Im saying he in no way jumped over him.
Both great athletes, scoring system ridiculous, but Jones Jr certainly did nothing for people to say he didn’t deserve to win.

Jones did a variation of the same dunk 3 times in a row.

They were all spectacular dunks, but every single one of Gordon’s dunks were better then every one of Jones’ IMO.

Gordon had more variety and therefor more creativity. He also did a better job of playing to the crowd.
