I disagree.

Jones did a variation of the same dunk 3 times in a row.

They were all spectacular dunks, but every single one of Gordon’s dunks were better then every one of Jones’ IMO.

Gordon had more variety and therefor more creativity. He also did a better job of playing to the crowd.

Not sure which of Jones dunks were the same, but ok?

Anyone can say that? I don't make the dunk contest rules. If you have an issue with a player missing a dunk & not getting penalized write the NBA. And make sure to mention you think Gordon landed on Falls shoulders then dunked.

He went between the legs every single time with a different set up.

Yes, 1 was a 360, 1 was off the backboard, 1 was jumping over somebody.

They were all great dunks. Gordon showed more variety IMO. And they were just better dunks.

His knees basically clipped Falls neck, which forced him to bend down , probably a couple feet.
The dunk was ANYTHING but clean.

Not only that, but on the approach, he used the ball to help propel himself.

No chance in hell could he ever have started with the ball in his own hands and cleared him to dunk it.

I have mixed feelings on that.

But there isn’t.

and that particular dunk was the best of the entire night, IMO.

1 miss over the entire contest is not a big deal. But if somebody goes Nate Robinson and takes 8 tries to get it down, yeah, they should get penalized.

Video speaks for itself.

1. He propelled himself pushing the ball off of his head.

2. Falls needed to bend his neck down, then was clipped by Gordons knees which forced him bend down, probably near 2 feet.

Feel free to dispute any of that.
