Does anybody think that rule should be changed? Why should the team that committed a personal foul get a reprieve because of an illegal procedure (going out of bounds) penalty?

Biased in this case obviously, but I 100% believe the only thing that should offset a personal foul is another personal foul.

Just for comparison purposes, in the CFL, the Chiefs would have penalized 10 yards (15 for the personal foul minus five for the Bills illegal procedure) and there would have been no re-kick.

I'd be OK with that too.

While we're at it, I also thi k that if a player is fouled, but still makes the play, penalty should add to the okay. For example, defender gets held, but still gets the sack. Sack should count, plus the holding penalty tacked on.

The other thing to consider is that it's a double whammy in a sense because the guys on the kick cover team are already a little tired from the previous kick and now they have to do it again. As we saw, the coverage was certainly not as good on that 2nd kick.

I mean, I've seen a lot less contact been flagged for PI. And then they call PI on the very next play where there was arguably less contact lol
