Also a question for those that don't like the OT rule:

Let's say both teams get a possession. The Chiefs score a TD then the Bills score a TD. Then the Chiefs move the ball 40 yards and kick a long FG to win - are you any less unhappy with that series of events?

Pretty much the same to me

Sorry buddy, that's a gut punch.
The future is looking very bright.

At least the City of Buffalo has the Sabres to further demoralize them even further.

It's not even my favorite team and I feel bad. One of the great all time performances from Allen tonight

I think they certainly should.

/That's not the way it works in the CFL :D

I hate to Argue but 2 things Dasher...................

1) They kick it short and pin em inside the 20..............

Game over

2) They Let KC WITH 13 FUCKING SECONDS move into FG range.

I'm a fan of those rules.......... No

But it shouldn't have gotten to that point

Everybody knows the rules going in so in that regard you know what you need to do - That said, it just seems that you would want a chance to answer a score with one of your own and that part is out of your control by virtue of losing a coin toss with the current rules.

/They just needed to stop the Chiefs with 13 ticks left on the clock and they failed to do so.

I get that but would it be sudden death after each team gets a possession? Or would each team get the same number of possessions not matter how many scores.

Yup, sudden death after each team gets a possession. The CFL OT system is similar to the NCAA, team who wins gets the ball at the opponent's 35 yard line and if they score a TD, they have to go for a two point conversion. If they score, then the other team gets a chance to match and they continue doing this until one team scores and the other team fails to match. A pick six by either team would end the game.

I'd be fine with sudden death after each possession. I just think this game ends the same way it did as I don't think either team was close to stopping the other. And I could still see people upset if a FG ended it. Lol I'd know some people who would still blame the coin toss even if the game was won on the 3rd possession.

Please no NCAA or CFL style system....

There shouldn’t be any overtime period. If it ends in a tie, replay the game next day. Only the super bowl should have overtime.

How about a two game series with winner decided by total points on aggregate?

Two defenders line up on the 5 yard line. Two offensive players get the ball on the 25. They can run and pitch it back and forth and try to get into the end zone.

Each team gets 3 chances, can only use players once.

Are there chances in the bank that can be used?

Say all the cliches like "the best team won" or "shouldn't have put themselves in that situation" but explain how it is fair the Rams drive down the field to kick and winning FG and Tom Brady and the Buccaneers do not even get a chance to match it.

You cant.

Honestly the one item I would change is the regular season OT rule so that a team must win and eliminate the tie all together.
