Did Nigeria get screwed with the call going against them for the keeper moving early?
Yes, I think Rennard stutter stepped a bit and keeper barely came off line I guess? Too nitpicky IMO.

I wish I saw it.. Did she really move too early?

Well that's so BS then... I get why they would call it then but if a player makes an "attempt" to shot, and I count a stutter step (since moving forward) then a keeper should be allowed to move
I don't know the rule, but the stutter was on the approach. Honestly didn't care for the initial foul call either... They collided, but...

VAR hands France a goal... Getting a bit out of hand IMO.

At least not since Alex Ferguson retired anyway.8 minutes stoppage... Never seen that many before...
3 teams advance out of a group? Wtf?
I thought I was about to watch Brazil cry. God damnit!!!
Yeah, BS IMO. IF the keeper had stopped it, maybe, but she MISSED. Also, as a lot online have pointed out, if she had made the PK, would they have done a do over since the keeper moved? I think not.
Not much of a soccer spectator, but I've been watching this match... So far the US has dominated the possession. But little mistakes on the back line are keeping things interesting.
Sauerbrunn has been making a lot of little mistakes with decision making, but luckily she hasn't cost them a goal yet. O'Hara is not giving her midfielders very good placement but she clears it pretty well. Dunn is spectacular. Her ability to defend as much space as she does is amazing.
