I thought last year was a evaluating and rebuilding year.
It was and it will continue. This year was never expected to win many games. That is one reason we did not seek better pitching.

If it's truly that, then Mathis and Choo shouldn't be playing. I hope this is not a 5 year plan.

Mathis was brought in from what I heard to help mentor IKF and the young pitching about to emerge midseason. That should aid in the development.

Well if this is how its going to be in here all season, I'll probably just stop posting, the incessant bitching and moaning is exhausting

I can enjoy baseball just fine without all the armchair managers and GMs we have all of a sudden

Sorry

Choo doesn't figure into the future and his contract is the only reason he is on the team. Mathis doesn't fit either only as support for IKF until he gets a little more experience. The main hold up is pitching and according to experts we have good minor league support due next year mixed with a FA or two. Saddles keeps up with the minor league pitchers. He can best way in on them.

Where ya been Dude?

Just busy. Working 3 jobs right now and my wife and mom are in bad shape.

I still post around here some but haven't had many positive things to say about our Rangers lately. So haven't really came around. I'm hopeful in 2 or 3 seasons they can get this thing built back up again but they are going to have to find some pitching. You'd figure with the new ballpark set to open next year, they might start making some big moves again. I have no idea how they are gonna get that thing done on time.

Welcome and when you can, join us in supporting the Rangers. Things will be getting better about mid season.

I'll try to here and there. Gonna try to be a better fan this year but my hands are pretty full.

That might be fairly accurate.

We just have to be patient and wait for our young guys to develop. I will admit I turn to other things when it gets out of hand but I love baseball and specifically the Rangers. Seen this type of team before and even worse but am optimistic about the future.

Relax man.

We were all psyched for opening day. We knew the team was going to stink, but we were hoping for a good first game of the season.

I don’t think people will be complaining as much as the season goes along..... but today sucked.

Why are the Rangers not allowing tickets printed at home any longer?

I have never heard of that creating a problem before.

Can Leclerc pitch the 6 through 9th inning every night cause if he cant we are in major trouble. This is the worst Rangers bullpen possibly ever. That is not me being a downer or an armchair GM, it's facts.

Wait what?

I’m going to a game this year and I always print at home.

That is why there were huge lines getting into the park yesterday causing many to be late getting to their seats.

I can't imagine why on earth they would institute such a policy.

You have to have a regular ticket or use your phone. As I see in airports, scanning phones usually takes longer than scanning a piece of paper.
