That's surprising, you seem like one of most mellow posters on the site.

i think everyone raised an eyebrow when Cousins signed a 1 year 3.5M dollar deal this offseason. I think its now clearer than ever that most teams did not trust the medicals and the likelihood that he would stay healthy.
It's usually the other way around where a person's career goes downhill on the Kings or gets improved after leaving them. I don't feel bad for the team that signed Boogie, but it sucks the bad luck he's dealt with these last few years. That's how he tore it?
Fuck me sidewayz.
Boogie's career has been in freefall since the Kings dealt him.

You're right for once in your life.
Congrats man
I highly doubt it.
ACL isn't that serious of an injury in terms of career ending. If any injury was going to end his career, it would have been the Achilles tear and he came back pretty good from that.
He also still isn't 30

Daryl Morey argues for James Harden over Michael Jordan
During an appearance on an esports podcast called Selfmade with Nadeshot, Morey was asked why the Rockets so aggressively pursued Harden in a trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder. His response, as noted by Alykhan Bijani of The Athletic, featured some interesting comments about Harden and Jordan:
Why him?
Both the eye test, because he looks amazing, but if you looked at data at the time, once he had the ball in his hands, and it’s still true to this day, I get a lot of s--- because someone asked me “Who’s a better scorer, him or Michael Jordan?” It’s just factual that James Harden is a better scorer than Michael Jordan now.
Based on the math?
You give James Harden the ball and before you're giving up the ball how many points do you generate, which is how you should measure offense, James Harden is by far No. 1 in NBA history and he was No. 1 even at the Oklahoma City Thunder. It’s just he was coming off the bench and he was a little more hidden. So you needed good data to suss that out. So we knew he had that amazing skill to be a scorer.
People probably aren’t going to like you saying that.
No, people hate it. The counter-argument is reasonable. If you put Michael Jordan on a team now, he would do more than James Harden. That’s possible, but if you’re just saying NBA history, if you give this guy the ball, how much does his team score after you give him the ball before the other team gets the ball, it’s James Harden. I know that makes people mad, it’s just literally a fact.
Tell him worry about not having James Harden disappear in the big moments. It has become an annual thing every May
oh absolutely. Especially at his size. I think it became clear that teams just did not believe he could stay healthy. I mean- his defense was rather atrocious for the Warriors- but he was still giving them 16 and 8 in a very reasonable amount of minutes. I think him getting such a low-ball contract was the direct result of teams having no faith that he would be able to meaningfully contribute because of his health. You've got to think that Cousins knee injury was partially a result of his other injures. You have a tendency to overcompensate or adjust your movements to try to protect your other injuries and end up hurting yourself somewhere else. Probably end up happening to Durant and Klay too.
His size, weight will make it very hard for him to ever come close to being the guy he used to be.
The Lakers just needed him to be 70%.
At 29, that's probably asking way too much.
They better call Monroe, or maybe go small, with a guy like Faried.
dont be a fucking dumbass. I said the gamble for 3.5M did not work out- because guess what? it did not work out. I never said it was not worth the gamble- i said the gamble was failure. Learn how to read.He is still wrong though.
Signing a player like Cousins for 2.5 million isn’t really a gamble at all.
It didn’t work.
But there is basically nothing lost here.

I'd lean to first one as second has 2 guys playing a position they do not prefer
then what does your starting lineup look like?I wouldn't start Rondo.
I wouldn't start Rondo.
i think they probably have to because of their lack of another viable option, but rondo's defense and shooting are certainly not ideal at this stage of his career. Rondo is going to be 34 in February and his defense started to decline years ago. Why?

As I said- I think Pelinka's biggest mistake was not attempting to get a point guard that is at least semi-viable--- i mean- even a Mario Chalmers like guy was for the Heat.
I actually think a guy like an Elfrid Payton would have been a PERFECt option. Emmanual Mudiay would have been a solid option as well.
some other guys that would have been solid options i think either throguh trade or FA would ahve been Corey Joseph, Greg Hill.
If they could figure out a way to get a Schroeder from OKC or Clarkson from CLE they would be sooooo much better off.
his corpse is anywayMario is currently available.
