You finally agree that 2-3 is stupid as can be, stretch it to 3-4 which is in the category of highly, highly unlikely then twist my comment into somehow agreeing with you?
No one knows, to me, is nowhere in that range, to be clear IMO.
One thing I'd bet anything on is it won't be 2-3 years which was your original prediction and what we now have 100 posts about it.

Wow are you struggling with reading comp...as usual. I didn't say 2-3 couldn't happen. I said if you don't like it make it 3-4. Then you said "no one could know" which means you cannot be sure 2-3 is wrong.

Never said they could be contending in 2-3 years. Thought was would be similar to Browns hopefully. start to improve that year then a big improvement the year after that one.

Can they be a title contender again? Have said all along wont surprise me if they aren't as it isn't easy in this market......but this is the best way to try.

I'm well aware of Haslem's dysfuntion from previous seasons like hiring and firing coaches and GMs every year or 2....letting a homeless guy convince him Manziel was the man, etc.

This is not to give him all the credit of where they are now. He always said from Day 1 the plan is hire a credible GM. However, at 3-13 with a massive rebuild coming, that type of GM did not have the stomach for what needed to be done.

Deck is stacked against them for sure, but yeah. They are heading in the right direction. Just not likely they actually get there because it is really difficult.

Chance to win a title?
There’s ALOT more involved then thinking about that when owning/running a franchise.

First and foremost, its a business.
You need to sell tickets, premium seating, advertising, sponsorship, concessions ...on and on.

Its a much harder sell if you have a terrible product, for obvious reasons.

well played, but not sure anyone thinks the Browns were anything but a dumpster fire and not just for 6 years, but close to 20.

Only the last 2 was a planned tank.

Id be curious of actual season tickets sales and at what price.
Throw out last year because people have to renew before seasons end, so people probably kept because of LeBron.

Also not sure what TV ratings are etc, if they’re terrible. It matters though.

I'm curious as well. They were middle of the pack in attendance after he left the first time (not counting first year gone as they remained near top for reason you gave).

Gilbert has a will to win and spends which helps I think. Baseball owner wont spend so neither do the fans....and that's for a winning team.

I know Heat advertises ‘less then 100 season tickets remain, but I know its bullshit unless they mean 100 out of every 300 in arena lol.
