He was a great GM for them, but man did Embry mess that one up.Yep it was the '92 season. Price, Ehlo, Nance, Williams, Daugherty. Those were some damn good teams. Always wondered what would have happened if they didn't trade Harper for that doofus in high tops Danny Ferry. The next Larry Bird.
Could anyone?
True, but not like he didn't have a number of good games against them.Yes. The Pistons figured it out. Beat the hell outta him on the court.
At the very least it was solid D by Ehlo. Nothing he could do.Craig was not a bad defender. The Cavs needed to move him into double teams more. The shot over Ehlo was the most overrated shot in NBA history. However, the Cavs should have never let MJ take the last shot.

going by memory but thinking Nance went off in Game 7 with a number of 15-18 foot jumpers. 122-104 win maybe?

I would bet their is something in the contract that implies as much.
But we can play it that way if you want......nothing in contract to give full effort nor against complaining.
so complaining or lack of effort is not breaking the contract, as you implied.
Could anyone?
the contract does not state that the player has to consent to a trade. the team CONTROLS that- its part of the contract. The players rights under the contract is to get paid. The teams rights is to get a full effort for pay.
Players do not execute moves- front offices do. I n no way shape or form is there any duty of loyalty from a front office not to trade a player---- in fact- if the palyer is really worried about that- there is such thing he can negotiate called- guess what- A NO TRADE CLAUSE!
when a player signs a contract- there duty is to play to the best of their ability- no matter where they play or who they play for as long as its in the NBA. The owners duty is to pay the contract. There is no right of the player to get traded.
Nope....and I have not seen evidence the guys who have asked to be traded did not play hard.Play that way?
You really think they negotiate these monster contracts, and then owner says, ‘we better add a clause that says you’ll play hard’?
Another star certainly would have helped, but I'm not ready to write off playoff Lebron yet.Who thinks the Lakers are one good player short of having a championship team?
Nope....and I have not seen evidence the guys who have asked to be traded did not play hard.
That said, it's a long season. There are many times where players are not giving their all.
You don't think there's something in the contract that implies it? I said there is not something that specifically mentions playing hard.Previous post on same topic, you wrote: “I would bet their is something in the contract that implies as much”
Now its, “nope”
Gotta Love This Forum
serious Q as I don't recall the details.....was Davis the one who went public?

Probably not specifically mentioned you can't pull the heads off of random puppies but I would think it's frowned upon.
what about the puppy heads?I honestly think the chance is slim to none, as far as effort.
Conduct, things like that, yes.
