Heat suck.
What do you guys think about the young Hawks? Maybe an 8th seed?
We were top 3 in games missed due to injury.....there was more than that.
David Griffin on Anthony Bennett: You f--- up sometimes.
Why did the Cavs even choose him with their pick?
sucking while not trying to suck? Good for them? The Lakers weren't tanking, they just weren't that good.

Didn't think they were tanking last season. They were just dumb. And the Lakers def weren't tanking this past season.....injuries killed our season.
seemed obvious. The point of me saying "as a FA destination they should win a title first" was that as a FA destination they should win a title first.Yes they should. What's your point?
Are you saying not trying to suck then sucking is better than trying to suck and sucking? And why did they suck?
I said if it happens, it happens.
You guys just know you are going to suck, then try to justify it as a good thing, even though history shows it has never been a good thing for you except getting LeBron.
Maybe stupid is being in the market of a FA destination city (maybe the top market), allegedly trying to be good, and being awful?People thinking that the Lakers were actually purposefully tanking are just flat out stupid. You could see they were trying, they just weren't that good at putting a competitive roster together.
You get no one thinks they tanked last year, right? They were pretty bad the 4-5 years prior.Hell yeah they were tankng. Just look at the evidence.
-LeBron (their bestest player by the way) missed games
-the starting PG missed games
-the back up PG missed games
-the start SF missed games
There could even be more players that missed time during the season but my point is they tanked.

Yep...we've learned Miami and LA are both capable of not trying to suck but still sucking.Yep.
I guess I'm not getting how this isn't anything beyond a horrible option for those tagged. These are guys who, on the open market, would receive megadeals.I didn’t say it was better I said it only worked for the NFL, not the players. The set up is what made it a “plausible” option for the players as a consolation considering there’s no guaranteed contracts.

Last year they tried to win....they were just being run by a dunderhead.
I think a near lock to make playoffs without the injuries (or at least Lebron'), but not sure anyone thinks they were tanking last season.Granted it was early in the season but before the injury bug started hitting the Lakers weren't they around 5th or 6th?
Not sure exactly which game LeBron got injured & started missing time. Through 29 games last year they were 18-11 (.621 winning %). Not the best. But better than the not very good you're claiming.

And are you aware I don't think they tanked last year.....though your sarcastic comment says otherwise.
You don't get sarcasm. Thanks for playing.
read 9775.Make sure to read comment # 9772. The fact I have to explain to you I wasn't being serious is very funny.
