PG - Lebron
SG - Green
SF - Kuzma
PF - AD
C - Mcgee/Cousins

Defense
PG - Green
SG - Kuzma
SF - Lebron
PF - AD
C - Mcgee/Cousins

The good thing is they have a ton of different ways they can work these lineups.

Kuzma can play the 3 or 4
AD can play the 4 or 5
Lebron can play the 1 through 4
Green and Bradley can play the 2 or 3 and defend the 1 through 3
KCP can play the 2 or 3. Can't defend at all lol

There is no need for 3 PG's if this is their plan. Waste of space.

Basically Cook/Caruso won't play unless players are hurt.

Bradley/KCP is the backup SF

Not saying its a bad thing at all, but its nothing new.

Yeah I guess really don't get the plan, I thought Kuzma and Cousins could come off the bench. There will be some guys that won't get much playing time.

PG - Lebron - 22 mins - Rondo 16 mins - Cook - 10 mins
PG - Green - 26 mins - Bradley 22 mins
SF - Kuzma - 32 mins - KCP - 20 mins
PF - AD - 35 mins - Lebron 13 mins
C - Mcgee - 22 mins - Cousins 26 mins *only can play center

Basically Lebron seems like he will be play the 1 and the 4, probably some at the3 and Kuzma at the 4 like they did this past year.

Like you said, Cook and Caruso will have limited minutes but they could come in handy if Rondo gets hurt.

Cousins can't, or rather couldn't with the Ws. We'll see if he gets it back for the Lakers.

Eh.

I think they both play plenty in the regular season.

I like the thought of LBJ playing point some. This may be their go to lineup in the playoffs. But I also think the Lakers can change it up by going ultra small and playing Rondo and Cook together with AD at the 5.

If the first sub is Rondo for Cousins, that can really mess with the opposition for matchup purposes.

Hey, I wasn't blaming Lebron or bashing him. As a Heat fan, I was pissed at how he left us and how the free agent market dried up by the time he went back to Cleveland. But from an outside view, it was smart. Miami still had Bosh and Wade and still could've had a really good team that would challenge him in the East. Merely using Lebron's situation as an example as Kawhi just did nearly the same thing. Strategy is key.

Curious...did Heat have room for another star? Assumed just Lebron because of Bird Rights.

I have to think about the timing, but I think Bosh and Wade went into free agency as the perceived plan was to sign for lower contracts to allow Lebron the max. So technically, we may have had the money as only Lebron's $20+ mil was on the books out of the 3. However, if we knew he wasn't coming or he told Miami he wasn't coming we could've renounced his Bird Rights and that cap hold would've been gone. There was room to maneuver.

That injury usually takes more than just 1 season to recover from, if they ever do....and even if he is just 70-75% of the old Cousins, that's better than what we had last season.
