Last big name I can remember going to the Suns was the Round Mound of Rebound 25+ years ago. But don't remember if he was traded or went as a FA.
traded......cannot recall if he specifically asked to be traded to the Suns.

Stats don't include context. You're comparing a 2 year player playing on mediocre teams to a player's career who played on championship teams. Let's see if Kuzma keeps this up when he is on a contender. Highly doubt it. And if you would really take Kuzma over Kukoc you need to have your head examined. Kukoc took a lesser role to win rings. You can't be that naive.

Kukoc wouldn't have been any different on mediocre teams than Kuzma.

After he left the Bulls, he played for some fairly mediocre teams and not only did his numbers not improve, in some cases they were worse. In fact, some of his best numbers were with the Bulls. So what exactly was he sacrificing?

You know full well why he didn't list Butler.
Not sure it was because Miami acquired him if that's what you were thinking. I think he'd have left him off even if he stayed in Philly.

:L

What was Kukoc's role on the Bulls?

Third scoring option on a championship caliber team.

You want Kuzma to play that role for the Lakers but I seem him as a good player on mediocre teams. I have not doubt his performance will regress on this new Lakers team.

This season is genuinely going to be fun in both conferences.

West is completely open and even in the East other than maybe Philly and Milwaukee being 1 and 2, I dont know where to put any other team.

Perhaps it's just easier to name the worst teams? :noidea:
About time we could bring the Cavs back into the conversation again.

Instant reaction after Free Agency:

East:
1. Milwaukee
2. Philly
3. Boston
4. New Jersey
5. Indiana
6. Miami
7. Toronto
8. Orlando

West:
1. Clippers
2. Denver
3. Utah
4. Lakers
5. Portland
6. Golden State
7. Houston
8. San Antonio
I think this is reasonable. Not sure Nets climb to 4, though, until the following season with Durant (probably top 1-3 at that point if he's healthy).

So who is the third scoring option on this Lakers team, which is a championship caliber team?

You're very far off it for now. A team with Nance Jr, Love and Sexton isn't going to do much.

Get cap space, develop the young guys and keep building through the draft and then maybe.

Swap Denver with Utah and it looks good.

It was because Butler is one of those players that Wiggy has irrational hate for and can't see past the hate. So yeah, in this case, it wasn't the team.

Having said that, the fact that he went to the Heat, just makes it worse because that's one of the teams he has irrational hate for that he can't see past.

IMO the Raptors are in the lottery now. They lost their best overall player and their best shooter.

They are still a playoff team in the East, but now fighting for a 7 or 8. Now if they make some moves that could change

Wiggy's always had some weird agenda against Butler. Him signing in Miami solidifies leaving him out of the top 20. I certainly don't know how you could have Doncic ahead of Butler.
