In 2011, the Spurs traded George Hill to the Pacers.

So far that trade has essentially given the current San Antonio:
Demar Derozan
Jakob Poetl
Demarre Carroll
Keldon Johson
Marcus Morris

and of course the 2014 NBA Title win as well from that trade
Don't need a history lesson on the spurs today. Today is about Kwahi, Westbrook, and not the Spurs lol

It's a topic about the off-season. The Spurs made a big move for themselves. Pretty sure we're free to talk about who we want.

Note to all, I don’t have it in me just yet but at some point there will be a fairly large Thunder rant, then I will be ok. Just fair warning.

Just let it out. You're amongst (asshole-ish) friends here.

I'm still surprised that OKC acquiesced so easily to trade away PG one year after getting him to stay and sign an extension.
i dunno.

Id say they got a pretty great return on their investment all considering

So two hours before Leonard signed with the Clippers and had told them if the Clippers got Paul George who was asked by Leonard to request a trade, he also asked the Davis camp to delay the Davis trade. That seems like tampering to me

Why? Free agency has already started.

The Heat could help the Thunder reduce future cap obligations by trading the expiring contracts of Goran Dragic ($19.2 million) and Meyers Leonard ($11.3 million). From a cap perspective, including Justise Winslow ($13 million) would be enough to complete the deal from Miami’s perspective, but that would increase the Thunder’s payroll by nearly $5 million this season.

This is the offseason thread for 2019.

The Spurs also acquired an unknown nobody Davis Bertans as a throwaway in 2011

In 2019 (last 24 hours) they flipped him for Demarre Carrol and Marcus Morris today further making that trade lopsided.

That is why I brought up the final tally. That was the last piece of the trade.

Correction, Leonard asked the Lakers to delay the Davis trade to make them believe that he was still considering signing with them even though he had already:

Asked Paul George to demand a trade and told the Clippers that if they could get George he would sign

By getting the Lakers to delay the trade, it would have hurt the Lakers chances of getting good players to finish the roster. He already knew that he would be signing with the Clippers. That was less than two hours before he agreed to sign.

From what I have seen though, it looks like the Lakers already had their players and and agreements lined up because in less the. Threw hours, they an announced deal after deal
