To be fair to Broussard, no one saw the PG trade coming. From what I heard that Woj apparently reported, if the Clips were unable to get the PG trade done...Kawhi was going to the Lakers.

Those picks they got from Miami for helping in the Butler trade and the ones they got from Philly for Tobias were the difference.

Show me where I said he was "the best consolation prize".

The Lakers needed outside shooting, whether they landed Kawhi or not and they got a guy who has shot 40% from 3 for his career. So, I'm not going to complain.

All things considered, so far, the Lakers have managed to put together a more solid roster than most thought they could. Again, not what I'd hoped they'd get, but with as quickly as everyone was signing...it's better than could have been expected, imo.

Look I get it, you're butthurt and salty because you lost Kawhi and a good rotational player that helped you get your championship and need to lash out to help yourself feel better.

You guys will be okay. Ujiri seems like a good GM, so I'm sure he'll figure something out.
