There's a lot of smoke that Kawhi is signing with the Lakers. Several former NBA players have tweeted hints to it; Kendrick Perkins, Caron Butler, and Richard Jefferson.

There's also on AEG insider (company owns part of the Lakers) that says its all but done and Kawhi just wants to tell the Raptors in person as a courtesy before alerting the media.

ESPN insider Amin El Hassan tweeted out something like "everybody been hearing the same thing apparently" but when someone asked him why no one has reported it, said that journalists have to go through protocols first.

So it's nothing definite, but there was definitely SOMETHING that went out that NBA types heard today. Gotta think a decision could come Tuesday, Wednesday at the latest

Ouch. Said teams aren't even really looking at giving him the mid-level and he could be staring at the vet minimum again. That's gotta suck. Turned down a sizable chunk of change from the Pels last season thinking he could ring chase with the Dubs and get a bigger deal this summer. Now there's no deal and he didn't even get a ring

I guess if you wanted the actual answer, there wasn't any other team I was gonna "focus" on but I could watch the league as a whole with the more unpredictable nature of not having a clear title favorite(it'd probably be Toronto because they just won it all). Having a team of Kawhi, LeBron, and AD together and they just so happened to be on the franchise I hate most makes me think it's like the Warriors getting KD all over again, who ran through most opponents in the playoffs on their way to B2B titles which probably ends up being 3 in a row had KD and Klay not gotten hurt. If these back to back dominant teams weren't Kings division rivals who I dislike maybe it's easier to still enjoy the NBA because if they win it's not as bad, but that's not the case. If you wanna say I'm not a true NBA fan because of that go ahead, I really don't care.
